This stone cottage is perfect for large groups looking to escape to the Yorkshire Dales. Situated in the pretty hamlet of Gayle, this home is in a peaceful location – enjoy the beck and waterfalls just outside the property that flows through Gayle. The thriving town of Hawes is just 0.5 miles away, easily accessed on foot, which has a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants for you to all peruse together. Wensleydale Creamery is also located in the town, where you can watch the master cheesemakers at work and enjoy the wonderful on-site restaurant. Take a trip to the Dales Countryside Museum, or head off from the doorstep into the Dales, admiring waterfalls, hiking, and soaking up the scenery.

Enter this fabulous property via three steps to the entrance hallway. To one side is a handy utility room which has plenty of room for damp coats and walking boots. It also houses a useful washer/dryer should you need to launder anything while away. A little further down the hallway is a cloakroom with WC, before you get to the first of two lounges. Get cosy on the comfortable sofas in front of the warming wood burner, admire garden views, or watch a show on the Smart TV and surround sound system, The kitchen is practical with all the amenities you need and a lovely table in the dining area. Completing the ground floor is the second lounge, or snug, with plenty of comfortable seating, another wood burner and a Smart TV with DVD player. Take the staircase from the hall, which is split in two by a full-length original feature window, onto the first floor where the four bedrooms are located. The master suite has a beautiful double bed and en-suite shower room with WC, and the second and third bedrooms are twins with plenty of storage space. The fourth and final bedroom has two steps down and you will find a double bed with a large window boasting stunning views of Stag Fell. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC is also located on this floor.

Outside to the rear of the property is a garden which is half patio and half gravel, plenty of space to sit and enjoy the sunset. Small beds and planted gardens surround the property.

We were all very pleased when we arrived at Beech Cottage. The house is very spacious with a good selection of living, dinning and sleeping areas. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the location is perfect for trips in and around Wensleydales would highly recommend this property

Fantastic cottag. Certainly lived up to our expectations. Only downsides were:- Toaster not working, No coffee machine. Low pressure showers. Also the bin lid is on its last legs

Beautiful, spacious, well equipped and incredibly homely. We had an excellent weekend away. The location is perfect for walking and Hawes is only a 10 minute walk away with lovely pubs, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend

Beech House was lovely, very spacious and clean. Very comfortable with excellent amenities. The location has excellent views and a nice 10 minute walk to the centre of Hawes. We had a fantastic stay at Beech House and would book again!
