The cottage is set in an ideal spot in the heart of the picturesque seaside village of Mundesley, just 500 metres or so from the edge of the beautiful long sandy beach. Close by you will find a range of great places to eat and drink, including a fine gastropub. Featuring a lovely cliff-top promenade and idyllic gardens, Mundesley is a delightful little resort with beach huts lining the seafront and is home to one of the smallest maritime museums in the UK. Exploring this gorgeous part of Norfolk further, local attractions include Amazona Zoo in the nearby resort of Cromer, Wizard Maze and Play, Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate, Blickling Hall and Gunton Park Sawmill (all within 13 miles).
Entering the property via the gated entrance which leads to the porch, you will find yourself in the fresh and airy open-plan lounge/diner which provides the tranquil centre of this delightful retreat. With plenty of seating, a Smart TV, DVD, Blu-ray, Alexa Echo and a choice of books and games, the lounge makes a great space to snuggle up in front of the open fire, watch a movie, chat about the day or watch the world go by from the pretty window seat. In the evenings, the central dining table provides an ideal spot for getting together to enjoy all your favourite family meals. Heading through the archway and down a couple of steps to the stylish kitchen, you will find an electric range oven with electric hob, a fridge and a Butler sink, alongside a breakfast bar where you can grab a quick snack. Further equipment, including a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, can be found in the utility area. The ground floor also has a separate WC. When it’s time to retire, head upstairs to the first floor which houses the first two of the property’s four warm and cosy king-size bedrooms, one of which has a small sofa. There’s also a bright and refreshing bathroom on this floor, complete with a freestanding roll-top bath, hand held shower and a WC, along with a separate shower room with a shower cubicle and WC. The final two bedrooms are on the second floor, one with a handy single truckle bed which you can request when booking. Please note several of these rooms have low sloping ceilings.
Outside, the back garden is enclosed and provides a lovely spot for you all to unwind at the end of a fabulous day. With a mixture of shingle and paving, this delightful space features plenty of outdoor furniture so you can sit back with a BBQ and watch as the younger members of your group play pirates on the old rowing boat. Designated parking is available for three cars.
