Just a few miles from the Norfolk coast this stunning former cattle shed has been imaginatively transformed into a delightful holiday retreat for up to ten guests. Perfect for larger families and groups of friends this superb property is just a mile from the picturesque hamlet of Wighton. Wells-next-the-Sea (4.5 miles) is known for its colourful beach huts, glorious beach and charming harbour offering crabbing and boat trips. Visit Holkham Hall, Cley Marshes Visitor Centre and Binham Priory or travel about on the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway (all within 8 miles). From Morston Quay (5.5 miles) you can take a boat trip to see the seal colony at Blakeney Point.

As you step into this fabulous property you will be greeted by a sweet entrance hall which makes a useful snug for anyone wanting to get away and chat or curl up with a good book. Heading through the hall, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a large, stylish and inviting room adorned with rafters in the vaulted ceiling, exposed brickwork and an array of bespoke artwork to admire. The pretty lounge area is perfect for chatting about the day or snuggling up to watch a movie, while a step up leads to the chic and elegant dining area which makes a stunning backdrop to a celebratory meal. The handmade kitchen has a wealth of equipment so you can cook. At the end of the day, there’s a fabulous choice of four light, stylishly decorated, and attractively furnished bedrooms, all with wooden ceiling beams and refreshing en-suite facilities. The first bedroom has a gorgeous emperor bed and sofa, there are also two lovely king-size rooms and a charming bunk bedroom with two sets of full-size bunks. The property also has an additional WC as well as a handy utility/boot room with further kitchen equipment.

Outside, the fully enclosed courtyard garden has a choice of seating areas with planters and fruit trees dotted about. There’s plenty of outdoor furniture and a BBQ, offering a lovely spot for enjoying a glass or two of wine on a lazy afternoon.

What a great stay in Norfolk we have all enjoyed, The Cattle Shed really has been marvellous and made our stay 10 times better than we could imagine. All the lovely times we have had cooking together and big family meals around the huge table have been great. We will really miss this house and Norfolk. We would recommend a trip to Burnham Market foRead morer a few hours of shopping and then a beach trip at Holkham. The Pub in Binham is also brilliant. Hide

Absolutely amazing property, the size of the property when you enter through the door is just breath taking. We have had a fabulous time here as a family and would love to spend a christmas here as can imagine it would be beautiful in norfolk with snow!

It was truly spectacular, we couldnt have asked for anything more. We loved everything! We all agreed that The sofa was the most comfortable we had ever sat on! We had the best nights sleep on thoses beds! The kitchen is to die for loved the copper sink! The shower I didnt want to get out of! The concrete floor wow! The Cattle Shed really has been the best base for our huge family, with 3 generations staying here. Its so comfortable, spacious and really has everything you need for a fantastic stay. We have all thoroughly enjoyed celebrating a 40th birthday weekend here. The size of the property was amazing and the interiors were so stunning, its certainly our dream home! We are all sad to be leaving but would love to return next year!
