Complete with exposed brickwork, stained glass windows and feature fireplaces, this traditional seaside cottage offers a slice of eclectic charm amongst the hustle and bustle of busy St Ives. The entire family can soak up some culture when staying in this wonderful coastal town. Whether you prefer the critically acclaimed galleries of Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum (both less than 0.5 miles), or you prefer to mosey around independently owned galleries, there’s always an abundance of art to be seen around here. Immerse yourself in the artists’ inspiration with a trip on The St Ives Bay Line, a short railway journey displaying some of the coast’s most magnificent seascapes. Or venture even further by following the South West Coast Path out of town and along the jaw-dropping clifftops of the Penwith Heritage Coast (0.5 miles).

Traditionalism meets contemporary chic in this handsome three-storey cottage, a place where feature fireplaces sit beside antique-style furniture in the most sympathetic style. Step inside to find yourself in the open-plan lounge/diner with plenty of seating, original tiled flooring and a warm and cosy wood burner. You’ll always feel at home curled up right here, perhaps with the Smart TV playing something good. From here you can head into the next-door kitchen, a magnificent room with farmhouse-style counters, a Range-style electric oven and traditional stone-flagged flooring. Perch at the breakfast bar first thing in the morning to enjoy your first coffee of the day. Back into the lounge and you can head up a flight of stairs onto the first floor. This floor has two bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, along with a spacious family bathroom. This floor also boasts a handy children’s den with games and a TV, perfect for letting the little ones play just before bedtime. An additional flight of stairs leads up to the top of the house where a king-size bedroom, a bunk bedroom and a family bathroom sit on the second floor.

You’ll be hard-pressed to find better outdoor space this close to St Ives’s town centre. From the second floor, you can exit the property and wander on up to a private roof terrace, complete with furniture and truly remarkable views of the surrounding town.

Firstly thank you - just right for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. And the best bit being very near to the beach and what a fabulous beach! The sea although chilly just great to swim in. Incredible stay.

A lovely week staying in Trevoda! This house is such a great place to stay - very central and all mod cons. Thank you for making this a wonderful holiday home.
