This delightful detached house is a spacious base, with chill out spots inside and out, for families or groups who want to see the best of the Pembrokeshire Coast, starting with the charming seaside village of Saundersfoot where this house is located on the outskirts. Enjoy family beach days on the Blue Flag-awarded beach (1 mile), take boat trips to spot exciting sea life and dine together at restaurants serving local seafood. A day trip to Tenby (2.5 miles) is a must with its three beaches, colourful harbour, picturesque views and historic, cobbled town. Kids will love a day trip to fun-filled Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo (4.5 miles).

Back at your holiday home, pass through the hallway and make yourselves comfortable in the first of the two lounges which features a leather sofa and two rocking chairs for lazing in front of the wall-mounted, flame effect electric/gas fire. There’s entertainment for evenings in from the TV with Freeview, WiFi, DVD player and music centre. Generously, the house also features a second lounge which boasts comfy seating, a feature wood burner and another TV with Freeview and DVD player, making it an excellent relaxation space. The big kitchen is great for group dinners with its double oven and two tables and chairs. Patio doors lead from the kitchen to the rear garden so guests can choose to eat inside or outside while socialising. The ground floor also has a cloakroom with a handy WC and a utility room with a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a door leading to the rear garden. Head upstairs to the first floor - admiring the stained glass window as you go - and choose a bedroom: there’s a twin bedroom with a TV, a double with a TV, another double and the master, king-size bedroom. The latter has an en-suite shower room; while there’s also a first-floor, main bathroom featuring a bath and a shower cubicle.

Al fresco relaxation is yours to enjoy together in the private, enclosed outdoor spaces (steps included), from the bush-surrounded lawned garden to the patio area with furniture for dining and relaxing.

Booking through Original Cottages very easy. Property exceeded our expectations. The house was incredibly well maintained, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Outside the garden was well maintained with plenty of comfortable garden furniture.

The reason I have not given top marks is that the furniture beds in particular and some of the equipment is dated. The instructions for the washing machine in the property do not relate to the model in situ and we had to look up the instructions for it online. There was no mention of what to do with the keys on leaving.

We had a major issue on arrival when due to a miscommunication between yourselves and the owner the property was not ready for our arrival. After a lot of phone calls and disruption on arrival this was eventually sorted out between myself and the owner. Your emergency lines were sluggish to respond This was very disappointing. But for a neighbour Read morewho knew the owner and contacted him directly this would have been a total disaster. After that the holiday was lovely - but the arrival was a nightmare. You were fortunate the owner was very good and apologetic and wanted to correct the situation. Hide

Excellent house with lots of facilities. Your prices are a little above other agencies, and we did not like the booking fee - we like to see the actual price when we search and not have extras like booking fees tagged on later. Also not impressed with your "send us 350 which we will return if there is no damage" and I guess that most people just paRead morey up the 35 indemnity - but this is another cost added on to the bill which is not obvious from the headline price. Again, we have not seen this with other booking companies. However we had a great holiday in an excellent and comfortable property in a very scenic area. Thankyou. Hide
