This fantastic, Victorian, coastal property is perfect for families and friends who want to enjoy a traditional seaside getaway, with Westward Ho! Beach and Northam Burrows situated less than 1 mile away. Westward Ho! is a thriving seaside village with a lovely selection of cafes and restaurants, and a handy village shop. For more amenities, the market town of Bideford is just 3.5 miles away. Westward Ho! beach is a popular spot for surfing, bodyboarding and windsurfing, while at the end of the lane, Northam Burrows is a tranquil Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - a peaceful place for walking or bird-spotting. Appledore, just 3 miles away, is the perfect spot for crabbing and ice cream and has some fantastic places to eat, or Clovelly, 12 miles away, offers a fascinating day trip with its cobbled streets and historic harbour.

Enter the house through the generous entrance hall with storage for shoes and coats before heading through to the contemporary kitchen fitted with a breakfast bar, a large range cooker, original wooden flooring and a low ceiling in areas. Down a small step and through the glazed doors is the dining room. Beyond this is a comfortable lounge with plenty of seating, a wall-mounted TV and a wood burner to keep cosy in the evenings. Head up to the first floor where you will find two delightful bedrooms a king-size and a twin with high ceilings and soft furnishings. The bathroom has a roll-top bath as well as a separate shower and heated towel rail. On the second floor, you will find the remaining twin and king-size bedrooms, both thoughtfully decorated, as well as a convenient shower room.

We absolutely loved our stay. Would highly recommend. Even though we had off road parking,getting out was a bit of an issue. People parking opposite driveway made getting in and out hard. Otherwise fantastic location with everything you needed in the property and within walking distance.

Burrows Reach is a lovely home perfect for a large family (or group of friends which we hired it for). A lovely comfortable open plan lounge with 3 roomy sofas to lounge on, a great well equipped kitchen with large table and chairs in dining area. The 4 bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds and good qaulity bedding. Heating worked well Read moreand soon warmed up this large home. 2 refitted bathrooms were an added bonus. A nice garden at the front of the property with a picnic bench to enjoy the sunshine. A few minutes walk across the nature reserve or along the road brings you to the centre of Westward Ho! There is a bus stop close by to catch a bus to Bideford or Barnstaple. A great find. Our first time of booking with Marsdens and we will definitely book again. Hide
