Whether venturing along the undulating South West Coastal Path or into the heart of Exmoor National Park, the Lyn Valley and the entire North Devon coast are blessed with beautiful walks and trails. The Valley of Rocks, 1 mile west of Lynton, is famous for its herds of goats, geology, and stunning sunset views. The Lynton & Barnstaple Steam Railway (3 miles) is fun for all the family, where you can journey back in time on Devon’s most popular narrow-gauge railway. The market town of Barnstaple is 20 miles away where you will find a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants.
