This fabulous home is ideal for a large group of friends or family to enjoy a relaxing holiday on the beautiful south Cornwall coast. Set within a few hundred metres of the town and the beach this home is great for enjoying car-free days out. The bustling waterfront has an abundance of independent cafes and restaurants for dining out. While the pretty winding streets of the town centre have an array of shops and boutiques to browse. The town is laid out on either side of the River Looe and this home is located in sought-after West Looe right on the waterfront. The coastal path winds its way within a few hundred metres of the house and from there you can stride out along the stunning coastline. Alternatively, visitors can take a boat trip from the harbour to see the marine wildlife on and around Looe Island, or spend a happy afternoon rock pooling at Hannafore Beach. The charming fishing village of Polperro is 5 miles down the coast, or head inland to the historic market town of Liskeard 9 miles away.

When it comes to the views, this home certainly has the wow factor with panoramic vistas out across the town, river and golden sands. The open-plan living and dining area make the most of the home’s commanding position on a coastal hillside. With comfortable sofas gathered around a feature fireplace the living area is spacious and welcoming. The dining table is positioned within a window alcove with glass on three sides. This is the spot for gazing out at the sweeping views beyond. It is perfect for family dinners, especially at sunset when the lights of the town start to twinkle down below. The kitchen is separated from the living room by a breakfast bar, so it’s a very sociable place to cook. On the first floor, there is a king-size bedroom with fantastic sea views and an en-suite bathroom. A second double bedroom with en-suite completes the first floor. There are two further bedrooms on the second floor. One is a lovely double with an en-suite bathroom, and the other is a large king-size room with an en-suite bathroom and sea views. The zip-and-link bed in this room can be separated to become two single beds if requested.

Outside there is a narrow, paved terrace with some outdoor seating, but with the beach so close, you are spoiled with space to stroll.

The location of this holiday home is wonderful, overlooking the harbour at Looe in the quieter West Looe. All of the rooms that face towards the front of the house have exceptional views and lots of light. In contrast all of the rooms at the back of the house are dark and have a damp feel to them. There is a bathroom for every bedroom which is greaRead moret. A blind was missing from one of the bathroom windows though which left the user somewhat exposed. This property is on three floors and is not accessible for anyone with any mobility issues. It is only suitable for physically fit and non-disabled people. The parking space is difficult to access. You have to reverse along a narrow track to get to it and then it is a tight space to reverse into. The parking space is not identified as belonging to the property and was taken by a resident of another property when we moved our car for the day. The check out time of 9am is unreasonable, especially given the flights of stairs you need to take your things up and down to move out and in. It is a property of two halves - the front rooms are lovely, the back rooms less so. We would not book it again as it didn't feel like a coherent, friendly and private place to us. Hide

Great location, comfortable beds and well appointed house on 3 levels. Lovely quaint town and clean sandy beach. A fair but pleasant walk to the beach. Don't forget your contactless card to pay 20p for the sea front loos. The seagulls will pinch your pasty given half a chance

Well-located in quiet West Looe but with spectacular views across the river to East Looe and the beach. Four spacious bedrooms each with en-suite and a cosy living/dining area. Well-equipped and ideal for our one week stay in June. Parking for one vehicle is challenging but manageable and we parked a second vehicle not far away on Marine Drive whicRead moreh has no restrictions. The walk to East Looe and most of the shops can be much shortened by the 1 passenger ferry. Plenty of activities to pass the week and we especially enjoyed the 5 mile boat trip to Polperro. If you have any issues or questions the owner is very helpful. Little touches like the welcome food basket and fresh flowers on the dining table were much appreciated. Hide

The view from the Gulls is really quite spectacular, 4 Bedrooms each one is on suite and plenty of room for a large family. We had an amazing week even though the weather wasnt the best but the view certainly made up for it. The owner of the property is very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

A really lovely house that is great for a large family to stay in. The views are spectacular and we spent breakfast time and evenings enjoying looking out. The bedrooms are spacious and it was great that they were all en-suite.
