The nearest beach is at Penllech 2 miles away and is a long, sandy stretch perfect for walks or picnics. The Llyn Peninsula is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, full of hidden treasures and incredible views. The whole area is wonderful for walking and the long coastline offers plenty of opportunities for varied water sports. The nearest village shop is in Tudweiliog 2 miles away and there are numerous good pubs and restaurants in the nearby villages and towns. The popular coastal town of Abersoch 9 miles away is a particular favourite with its fine sandy beach and lots of great eateries.
The cottages are all stone built and retain many original features throughout. They combine to make wonderfully versatile holiday accommodation for a large group.
Cottage 1 sleeps eight in four bedrooms. It features a character oak kitchen with slate flooring as well as a separate living room with a wood burner. It has a large double bedroom downstairs with glass doors opening to a patio. Also on the ground floor is a modern bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate wet-room style shower. It has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. Upstairs there are three further bedrooms and a shower room with a heated towel rail. The bedrooms are a comfortable double with countryside views and two interconnecting twin rooms ideal for children.
Cottage 2 sleeps six in three bedrooms. This barn conversion has a striking double-height kitchen/diner with an open beamed ceiling and slate floor with underfloor heating. The living room features oak flooring and a cosy wood burner. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor along with a stylish bathroom with an impressive bath, a wet-room style shower, heated towel rail and underfloor heating. These bedrooms are two doubles with magnificent sea and countryside views. Upstairs there is a cosy ‘snug’ room that’s great for kids with a TV, and a large leather beanbag. The twin loft bedroom is accessed via the snug and has low-sloping ceilings.
Cottage 3 sleeps four in two bedrooms. It has a spacious open-plan living area with underfloor heating. This double-height room includes a beautiful kitchen/ dining area and a lounge with a view. There’s also a ground floor double bedroom and a stylish bathroom with a ‘P’ shaped bath, a shower above and a heated towel rail. Upstairs guests will find a gallery twin room with sloping eaves accessed from the living area via an impressive flight of locally crafted stairs. Please note that as the twin room is a gallery room, it is not suitable for young children.
Outside there is plenty of space for everyone to get together and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Each cottage has its own patio area with tables and chairs, but the whole area in front of the cottages can be used as a shared space. From the elevated patio areas, there are views across open fields to the sea. There is also another shared garden behind the cottages with a garden table. This spacious lawn is ideal for pets or perhaps for a big game of football or rounders.
