Are you planning a birthday, reunion, family get-together or a wedding? Look no further than this sprawling property on an organic farm which sleeps up to 25 guests in ten bedrooms. The property has a great location, with the nearest pub in Defynnog, about 2 miles away, and more pubs and shops in Sennybridge (3 miles). The Brecon Beacons National Park boasts some of the most distinctive upland formations in southern Britain and attractions include the spectacular Ystradfellte Waterfalls, the Brecon Mountain Railway and Dan yr Ogof Caves. Half a mile of fishing on the River Crave, a tributary of the Usk, is included with the rental and water sports enthusiasts can tackle water canoeing on the Usk (3 miles) and at Llangorse Lake (18 miles). Despite its rural and peaceful location, the cottage enjoys great road links to both Swansea and Cardiff.

The property comprises three separate houses set together. The Farmhouse features a traditional kitchen with a dining table seating eight, and a lounge with a wood burner set in the fireplace. A second lounge can be used as a children’s play area or perhaps as a place for adults to escape for a bit of peace and quiet. A utility room is also on the ground floor. The four bedrooms are upstairs – two king-size and two doubles – as well as a bathroom and a shower room.

The Barn is set across the yard from the Farmhouse and has a large kitchen and dining area seating 12 people, as well as a 12-seater sofa in the lounge, and a wood burner. A second lounge could also become a children’s play area or a reading room, and a utility room includes an additional shower. The first bedroom is king-size with an additional single bed, with an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The second bedroom interconnects with the first via a lockable door and features a king-size bed with an additional double bed. The other two bedrooms consist of a king-size and a double. The main bathroom features a shower over the bath.

The Cottage has a lounge area with a wood burner and plenty of information on local walks and cycle routes, as well as a cloakroom with WC and a kitchen/dining room with seating for six. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a king-size bed and another with a king-size bed and an additional double bed. The bathroom features a bath and a separate shower.

The extensive grounds outside the properties include a built-in brick BBQ and stylish garden furniture. Two hot tubs, a games room and a trampoline complete the list of entertainment options that will keep all ages occupied, come rain or shine!

Stayed here for a long weekend as a group of 17 people and 2 dogs for a family get together for a birthday celebration. We had the most amazing 3 night stay at your property, all three properties were spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The views from the hot tubs were just breathtaking, the large gardens outside each of the three prRead moreoperties was also great, not over looked and very private, plenty of parking for all and very easy to find. I could go on and on about how great this place is, we are already talking about coming back to stay but definitely for longer next time. Thank you so much! Hide

One of our best holidays at Onnen Fawr Farm Cottages. Well maintained and comfortable accommodation, beautiful views, helpful and friendly owner. Couldn't ask for more.
