Amazing 1920s property sleeping 14 over three storeys in the utmost comfort and style in a quintessential Llyn Peninsula location, making it an ideal base for large family groups or fun times with friends. Excellent beaches abound in this part of the world – Porth Neigwl is 0.5 miles on foot or by car it’s 7 miles, Aberdaron Beach is 4 miles and Abersoch Beach is 6.5 miles. That’s just for starters … join the Llyn Coastal Path from the local village of Rhiw less than 0.5 miles away. Fancy some culture? Why not visit the National Trust property of Plas yn Rhiw, a 17th-century manor house with ornamental garden just 500 metres away. Or simply stay at home and gaze at the spectacular view from the hot tub or head to the outside games room for all sorts of wet-weather fun, including table tennis and darts.

The kitchen is allegedly the heart of the home, and that’s certainly the case here. An adjoining extension sees the generous kitchen/diner flow seamlessly from the lounge, offering floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors out onto the raised slate patio. Inside or out, the views are guaranteed. It gives everything you expect from a contemporary kitchen and more with a large wooden dining table seating plus marble island/breakfast bar. The quirky double-sided wood burner faces into this space as well as into the lounge, where thanks to the ‘see-through’ chimney breast you can choose to feel snug and tucked away or part of the wider action in the kitchen/diner. It’s beautifully decorated and furnished with a fabulous mix of old and new, various textures and styles to give a really chic vibe. There’s a second large living room with a decorative tiled fireplace if you want some time out or you can’t all agree what to watch on TV! The stunning en-suite family bedroom is also on this floor with a king-size bed and bunks plus patio doors out onto the lawn. Absolute luxury! Upstairs, there are two king-size bedrooms, one double and one twin. Many rooms are double aspect and the neutral, tasteful decor makes them really relaxing spaces to spend time in. There’s lots of oak, and period features abound everywhere such as the 1920s-era arch to the bathrooms – one shower room and one bathroom with freestanding bath and bare brick wall. Up again to the second floor and you enter what is probably a teenagers’ paradise with its own small sitting area with TV, shower room and twin bedroom with painted rafters and beams plus a Velux window in the sloping ceiling.

Outside, guests benefit from a large slate patio with garden furniture, a large gas BBQ and hot tub with canopy cover. There’s also a large, enclosed lawned garden area and the whole outdoor space offers views to remember, not to mention the outside games room with dart board, table tennis, table football, air hockey and giant Connect 4.

We spent Christmas here my daughter and family came over and we wanted somewhere we could all be together! As we drove up the road to the property we were totally in love with the house lit up beautifully for Christmas we couldn't wait to get inside! I forgot the code in all the excitement and rang the owner who answered straight away and came ovRead moreer to let us know how to use the gorgeous hot tub! Hearing my family walk around the house full of excitement and compliments about how beautiful the house was I knew we had made the right choice on our Christmas home for the week. Stepping outside to the view of the sea literally takes your breath away you couldn't ask for more! Soon we had the log burner fired up and we tucked into the lovely cake the owner had left for us in the welcome pack xx Plenty of logs for the entire week but the house was lovely warm and cosy anyway! The bathrooms are spotless and the showers are perfect with a beautiful smelling hand wash and soft clean towels and plenty of huge towels for using around the hot tub. Every bed was so comfortable with good quality bedding spotlessly clean. Kitchen area had everything you could possibly need! 2 dishwashers and 2 ovens certainly came in handy with our lot! Plenty of space in the fridge and freezer both larder style again very clean! The dining area couldn't have been more perfect for everyone at meal times jigsaws and craft times. I could go on for hours about this wonderful house but take my word for it and book some time in this beautiful home, you won't want to leave........x Even the storm we had was exciting for everyone to watch with the lightning over the sea!! Loved the location so picturesque. The property smelt like a spa everyday and was super clean. All amenities for a large party. Really cosy,warm and beds super comfortable
