Offering gorgeous accommodation for up to eight guests, this imaginatively updated farmhouse makes a wonderful getaway for larger families seeking an idyllic base for exploring the quaint villages and lovely beaches of the spellbinding western edge of the Llyn Peninsula. The pretty fishing village of Aberdaron is just over a mile away, with a sandy, sheltered beach which is perfect for surfing, sunbathing and kayaking. Aberdaron also has some great pubs, cafes and a traditional fish and chip shop. You can also take a boat trip to the tranquil Bardsey Island to spot a range of birdlife, seals and the occasional porpoise. Just 1.5 miles north of the cottage is the famous beach of Porthor, also known as Whistling Sands.

Entering this beautiful property, the spacious lounge/diner provides a fantastic spot for everyone to get together and relax. Featuring exposed beams and stone walls, this tastefully furnished room is at the heart of the house, with an additional snug area, a choice of books to browse and a sociable dining area. The impressive country-style kitchen features a stylish tiled floor, exposed beams, an Aga and attractive dresser. To the front of the house, a light-filled conservatory provides a great space for relaxing and taking in the views. The ground floor also has a handy separate WC. Heading upstairs you will have a choice of four bright and individually styled bedrooms, with a range of charming features and cosy furnishings. There’s a spacious king-size with a TV and en-suite shower room, along with a sweet double room, a pretty twin room and a bunk bedroom with full-size bunks. The first floor also features a stylish family bathroom and a separate shower room. A unique feature of the property is the purpose-built Russian Banya – a fantastic sauna offering an invigorating and truly relaxing experience.

Outside, there’s a delightful little patio to the front of the property, with picnic bench seating and a BBQ. There’s also a large secure lawn with trees to the side of the farmhouse offering picturesque views across open farmland.
