This characterful farmhouse is a great place for families to enjoy a taste of the countryside together, with gorgeous views, peace and quiet. There are a number of paths right from the property for walking and cycling, as well as the opportunity to play a round of golf at Kington Golf Club (3 miles). Presteigne (3 miles) is a lovely place for a day trip with a small selection of shops, cafes and restaurants to please the whole family. See the stars and planets at The Spaceguard Centre for a fascinating and educational experience.

This cottage has two living areas, one with an open fire, and a second with a wood burner for spending time together with all the family, or taking a break apart to read a good book. The kitchen/diner has gorgeous wooden beams across the ceiling and exposed stone walls, oozing charm. Equipped with a dining table to seat six, this is a great place to gather for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The property has four bedrooms in total, starting with the double featuring a wooden chest of drawers and a large, bright window. Three further twin rooms are available, making room for everyone with space to unpack. There are two family-sized bathrooms with showers over baths, with traditional styling.

For sunny summer evenings, the enclosed lawn garden and patio is the perfect place to kick back and relax, enjoying the lush green views and watching the sunset.

A delightfully peaceful & cosy retreat with lovely views. If you need to escape the world for peace & quiet then this is the place. A surprisingly spacious layout upstairs and down, large enough for a big family or even groups of friends. The minute I walked through the door, I wanted to retire from work and live in Black Patch.
