Allonby boasts a 5-mile beach and serves as an excellent starting point for invigorating coastal hikes along the Cumbria Coastal Way. Silloth is just 3 miles away and boasts a golf course, games arcade and traditional green which hosts annual events. Maryport (5.5 miles away) is a charming harbour town with a unique golf course located between sea and hills, an aquarium and numerous historical attractions. The Georgian town and birthplace of William Wordsworth, Cockermouth, is just 14 miles away and is picturesque town in the northern region of the Lake District. Bassenthwaite Lake is easily accessible, located just 16 miles away. This is the perfect gateway to discovering the Solway Coast, which is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the Lakes.

This charming holiday house is a semi-detached spacious cottage perfect for your coastal getaway. As you walk in through the front door, you will find a lobby which leads to the kitchen and utility room. The kitchen boasts a lovely cosy wood burner, creating the perfect atmosphere for preparing a delicious evening meal while enjoying a glass of wine and planning the days ahead. Adjacent to the kitchen is the lounge, where you can relax and unwind, watching the sunset over the coast. The lounge also features a formal dining area, ideal for enjoying meals together or bringing out the board games. Off the lounge, you'll find a sunroom, perfect for reading a good book or enjoying a morning coffee while observing the inquisitive resident cows in the field behind the house. Downstairs, there is a bathroom with a bath, shower, and WC. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms all have sea views, one king-size with an en-suite shower and WC, one double, one twin room and one room with bunk beds. Completing the property is a separate WC along the landing.

Outside, there is an enclosed garden to the front and side of the property with a patio and covered seating area, allowing you to enjoy a BBQ regardless of the Cumbrian weather.
