The wider Bideford Bay includes the nearby villages of Appledore and Instow, both within 5 miles and well worth a visit. Other attractions in the area include The Big Sheep (3.5 miles), The Milky Way Adventure Park and The North Devon Wake Park (11 miles) for water sports enthusiasts, or why not hop on the MS Oldenburg and take a day trip from Bideford Quayside (3 miles) to the beautiful island of Lundy?
