The cottage has been done to a high standard but its more style over substance. Too many niggles and things needing attention detracted from our stay. Beds were comfortable and showers were good

Very spacious and well decorated. Great to have a well stocked shop and a good pub within 50m of the property. Great patio area but steep access steps to it are not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Picturesque 30 minute off road walk to the beautiful village of Cartmel which has many great restaurants, cafes and pubs.
