Friendly Amble on the Northumberland coast is located at the mouth of the River Coquet. Browse the high street for a range of shops and cafes and head to the marina’s quirky retail pods for gifts to take home. Watch fishing boats return to the harbour with the daily catch and take a boat trip of your own to Coquet Island to see seabirds, including puffins, in their natural habitat. Amble has restaurants galore, from fresh seafood to artisan ice cream, not to mention fabulous fish and chips. Enjoy the river walk from the doorstep to see neighbouring Warkworth Castle (1.5 miles), village, and beach. Nearby, Alnmouth (6 miles) has a long, sandy beach, independent shops and pubs, and a superb golf course with panoramic sea views. Alnwick Castle and the magical Alnwick Garden (both 9 miles) are a must-visit.

This stunning, spacious property is set over three levels and offers a greener family holiday option. It has been designed and finished to an extremely high standard with underfloor heating and beautiful lighting throughout for a warm and welcoming escape from the day-to-day. Enter through the enclosed courtyard and into the front door and hallway. A door leads to the utility/boot room with a washer/dryer. You can hang your outdoor clothing and sit down to remove your walking boots, and dogs will love this warm space as their peaceful bedroom. Just off the hallway, the bright and airy, open-plan kitchen/diner is a wonderful social space where the family chefs can chat across the kitchen island while preparing dinner. The kitchen facilities are all high specification, making cooking a dream with an eye-level electric oven and microwave, an induction hob set into the kitchen island with a clever extraction system, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, and a coffee machine. Attractive lights illuminate the family dining table with French doors opening onto the courtyard garden. A partial dividing wall houses an attractive two-way electric flame-effect fire leading to the ground floor lounge with a comfortable ‘L’ shaped sofa to recline on and a wall-mounted Smart TV for entertainment. This room overlooks the communal gardens at the front of the property. Head upstairs to the first floor where you'll find three of the bedrooms. There are two king-size bedrooms and a double bedroom each with an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower and WC. Venture upstairs to the second floor and into the spacious chalet-style lounge with high ceilings and fabulous light fittings. This room has an impressive floor-to-ceiling window with bi-folding doors that open onto the balcony where you can sit to watch the sun setting. After a long day exploring the area, relax in the lounge either on the comfortable sofas or by luxuriating in the sunken Italian spa bath. You can change the lighting to suit your mood and the Smart TV is mounted on a cantilever so you can watch your favourite shows from here or sitting on the sofas. The fourth bedroom is also on the second floor, with a king-size bed and en-suite shower and WC.

Outside, at the rear of the property, there is an enclosed courtyard garden with garden furniture where you can enjoy al fresco dining and drinks. The second-floor balcony is west-facing for beautiful sunsets and views of Warkworth Castle. There is a large garage available for use during your stay.
