Situated only 3 miles away, the charming town of Sedbergh, celebrated for its independent bookstores, has three hospitable pubs, a selection of delightful restaurants, and inviting cafes.

Walk through the grand front door into a welcoming and spacious entrance hall, fully equipped with a lift, providing access to the first floor. Downstairs are multiple living spaces full of elegance and style. Each room is ideal for getting together as a whole group and taking time to chill out and unwind, be it in the large, airy lounge, the warm and cosy snug or watching a movie in the cinema room. The superb open-plan kitchen/dining area has all the appliances for preparing large meals to entertain in style. Eat together at the stately dining table, seating up to 20 guests and linger over fabulous food and memorable conversations. There are six bedrooms in the main house spread across the ground floor, first floor and second floor: two family rooms - one with a super-king and three singles and one with a super-king and two singles - two king-size, and two super-king-size. In the adjacent outbuilding opposite the main property is a room with three single beds. There are four en-suite shower rooms, one separate shower room and two en-suite bathrooms. Travel as a group to the Lakeland Maze Farm Park (10 miles) with outdoor or indoor play areas for the kids, or step back in time with a walk around Sizergh Castle (14 miles) where you can make a group booking before you go. Kendal (9 miles) offers outdoor adventures, including quad biking, archery, and raft racing. And, of course, there are stunning landscapes in which to cycle or hike, including the Ingleton Waterfall Trail, Ingleborough, Windermere and Troutbeck, all within 20 miles.
