Outside, the extensive gardens offer magnificent views of the Staffordshire countryside. French doors open from the lounge onto a sweet patio with garden furniture and a built-in stone BBQ, making a lovely spot for dining alfresco. Lovely location, good property with lots of room for 8 and comfy beds. Owner was very responsive both before and during booking (including a sunday night emergency!). People with mobility issues note there are several steps on the ground floor level due to the age of the building. Absolutely huge garden. Kitchen could have been better equipped and Read morewe didn't have the basket of logs mentioned here but we had a lovely family weekend. Highly recommend The Old Smithy pub in Eccleshall Hide
