Occupying three floors, this tastefully furnished and beautifully decorated getaway has been thoughtfully updated to make an ideal hideaway for eager walkers, beach lovers and nature spotters discovering a spellbinding stretch of the North Devon coast.

Stepping inside this welcoming holiday retreat, the entrance hall leads through to a comfortable lounge with ample seating, a selection of books and games and a feature fireplace, providing a relaxing spot for getting together and watching a film on the Smart TV. There’s an additional snug, also with a Smart TV and seating, plus a useful desk and an upright piano. A couple of steps lead into the spacious kitchen/diner. With a high vaulted ceiling, a sociable central dining table and plenty of equipment and appliances, this is a fantastic space for preparing and sharing celebratory meals as you mark a special occasion. On the first floor you will find two cosy bedrooms: a relaxing double and a peaceful en-suite king-size room, alongside the main family bathroom. The two final bedrooms are on the second floor: a cheery twin and a lovely en-suite super-king-size room with a Smart TV and river glimpses. From the kitchen a few steps lead up onto a sweet split-level garden which is fully enclosed and dog secure, with a pretty patio with outdoor furniture and a BBQ offering an ideal spot for dining alfresco. The upper level features a handy garden studio with seating, a desk and basic fitness equipment, a table football table and a selection of garden games.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £40. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Lying close to the heart of Appledore, the property is just 150 metres from the fascinating North Devon Maritime Museum, with the harbour and a wide choice of popular pubs, cafes and restaurants just a short stroll away. Northam Burrows Country Park (2 miles) offers some beautiful walks, leading up to Greysands Beach and then down the coast along the long stretch of golden sands towards the bustling Victorian-era resort of Westward Ho! (3 miles) which is also home to the Royal North Devon Golf Club. Local attractions include Tapeley Park Gardens, The BIG Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park and the historic private village of Clovelly, all within 15 miles.

A wonderful house for a family gathering with everything you could ever need, including a working office space and equipment for a baby. Great location in the middle of Appledore. All requirements appear to have been thought of including well equipped kitchen and garden room, living room with books, magazines and board games as well as Netflix on the TV.

A fantastic, spacious and very well equipped house, beautifully and comfortably furnished with the bonus of a sizeable dog-friendly garden - we had everything we needed, as did our puppy. Appledore is a great location with great places to eat and lots going on, even out of season. We had a wonderful time and will be back. Thank you! X

Maisie's is a fabulous, spacious house, well equipped with a lovely oasis of a garden. Being located in the centre of Appledore, it is conveniently within walking distance to everything. We enjoyed a wonderful time staying there.
