Towards the northern end of Chesil beach, West Bexington is home to Vurlands Animal Farm and a nature reserve, and makes a serene base for exploring the Jurassic Coast. Heading east, the pretty village of Abbotsbury is known for the remains of its medieval abbey as well as the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens and Abbotsbury Swannery (5 miles). Other local attractions and landmarks include West Bay, Coney’s Castle and Forde Abbey and Gardens, all within 20 miles. The bustling coastal resort of Lyme Regis is to the west (15.5 miles).

Had a great time, there were 8 adults in our party and a dog! Cottage is well equipped if you would like to cook meals in. Beautiful views across the fields and sea from the lounge, with amazing sunsets. There is a hose in the back garden which is perfect for washing the dog after walking through the fields. Perfect Family Break. Our stay at Sea Campion could not have been better. Everyone from grandparents to toddlers enjoyed their stay. The house, the facilities, the view and the easy walk to the beach were all a complete success. We have already recommended it to friends.

This is our second time at this beautiful house. Its so large and spacious it accommodates the bringing together of 4 members of the family plus three dogs ! We were able to take different parts of the living space (last year in Spring we also used the balcony) and never felt crowded. The scenery and view from the house is breathtaking. beautifully renovated bungalow in a lovely position overlooking the sea. Loved the balcony,we were able to sit out to read/enjoy coffee and have sundowners even in January! Great,comfy open plan living area. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds and excellent bathing facilities,plenty of hot water.
