The scene is set the moment you set foot in the spectacular entrance hall of this Georgian home. Gather in the sumptuous lounge and enjoy the art of conversation in one of the four seating areas, or head to the cellar snug to listen to a record on the juke box, play pinball or try some karaoke. The gentleman’s club-style bar is a great place for an aperitif, followed by a memorable meal in the opulent dining room (this has full capabilities for daytime conferences, should you require them). If there’s a big game on, or to watch a movie, the cinema room accommodates ten in rich, leather seating. You may also enjoy a tasting in the cheese room or viewing the 1,000-bottle wine cellar. When it’s time to turn in, the lavish bedrooms, all with TVs and en-suite facilities, offer the perfect end to the day. Suitable for guests with mobility issues, one bedroom is set within a ground-floor flat and has separate access and a large, walk-in shower, while another is situated in the summer house, a few steps down the drive. It boasts a lounge/kitchen and a shower room with WC on the ground floor, and a king-sized bedroom on the first floor which includes a free-standing bath.
