Located in a picturesque setting within the Shropshire Hills, this charming farmhouse, sleeping ten guests across five bedrooms, was lovingly refurbished for 2023 and is perfect for large families or groups of friends looking for a quintessential English countryside experience. With exposed wooden beams and exposed brickwork throughout creating a relaxing, homely atmosphere, the farmhouse is a world away from your day-to-day life.

There are plenty of sumptuous spaces to gather and spend quality time together. The farmhouse-style kitchen has everything you need to prepare celebratory meals or family feasts. The spacious dining room has ample seating, a wood burner and additional seating to relax after your meal or watch TV. The beautiful and spacious lounge is just off the dining room, and you can unwind as a group on a large corner sofa, perfect for watching a movie or some live sport together. A second wood burner creates a truly magical experience. Upstairs is split into two separate areas accessed by separate staircases. Stairs lead from the dining room to access a family bathroom and three bedrooms, one king-size with an en-suite shower and two doubles. Stairs from the lounge lead to a shower room and two bedrooms - one king-size and one twin. Outside, you will love how much space there is to explore. The landscaped gardens wrap around the house and provide multiple settings for you to relax. The outhouse offers ample room to store bikes. To the front of the house is an outdoor table and chairs allowing you all to enjoy dining alfresco late into the evening. The spacious grounds are fully enclosed, perfect for children and dogs to play freely. Enjoy some games on the lawn, cook up a storm on the BBQ or sit and enjoy a good book in stunning surroundings.

Located 5 miles from the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the property makes an excellent choice for keen walkers with or without dogs, with easy access to fantastic footpaths, including the Shropshire Way and plenty of charming villages for a well-earned pub lunch. The Offas Dyke Path is easily accessible from Knighton (12 miles), mixing beautiful scenery with historic hill forts. Cyclists can ride at Hopton Woods (5 miles) and The Long Mynd (12.5 miles). A great day out for all ages is Stokesay Castle (6 miles), the best-preserved fortified medieval manor house in England, with Moat Walks and towers to explore before pausing for a bite to eat.

Beautiful house to stay in for a family birthday. We stayed for a week and there were between 2-9 people staying over the week. Big house but as it was cosy it did not feel massive when it was just 2 of us staying. We would move in tomorrow. Views stunning. We hired a hot tub for the week which we all enjoyed and if we came back (fingers crossed) wRead moree would do this again. Thank you Hide

Lovely house in a lovely location. If you want to get away from it all for a few days, this is the place. Well equipped and very comfortable. The owners were very helpful with any questions we had prior to our stay. We would happily return.

This is an outstanding property in a beautiful, quite location. Plenty of walks and bike rides available from the doorstep and only short car journey to Ludlow, Craven Arms, Market Stretton etc. A great place to relax with friends and family. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
