This impressive farmhouse with large open rooms, cosy corners, and beautiful colour accents is full of lovely original features, exposed wooden beams and exposed stone fireplaces and walls, lending a wonderful charm to your stay. There is a nature theme in the decor and soft hues throughout. Enter the hallway and step into a kitchen with all you need to rustle up memorable meals to linger over in the characterful dining room, which has impressive views over the surrounding fields and an open fireplace. The spacious and comfortable lounge offers a Smart TV and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy chatting or playing games. Window seating provides the chance to enjoy the scenic surroundings. The pool table/games room, just off the main lounge area, is ideal for competitive fun. Upstairs are two contemporary bathrooms and two bedrooms leading off one staircase, each with one king-size and one single bed. There are three other king-size bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms have a Smart TV. Outside is a large courtyard and enclosed patio area to enjoy evenings dining alfresco or soaking in the large hot tub. The historical spa town of Buxton, 10 miles away, is well worth visiting, with a theatre and opera house for an evening of culture and walking or cycling along the traffic-free Monsal Trail. Alternatively, head underground at Poole’s Cavern (9 miles) for a guided tour of these unique, natural limestone caverns.
