Enter the hallway and step into a kitchen with all you need to rustle up memorable meals to linger over in the characterful dining room, which has impressive views over the surrounding fields and an open fireplace. The pool table/games room, just off the main lounge area, is ideal for competitive fun. Alternatively, head underground at Poole’s Cavern (9 miles) for a guided tour of these unique, natural limestone caverns.
