Spacious, comfortable and accommodating all ages, this delightful property is decorated in pale colours and uses natural textures and touches of blue for an appealing coastal theme. It’s set over three storeys, with the open-plan kitchen/diner on the ground floor. Glazed doors lead straight outside, and in the summer this has a lovely indoor/outdoor feel, while in the cooler months you can draw the curtains and snuggle up on the soft sofa with a book or a programme on the Smart TV. This room is bound to be the hub of the holiday, with the kitchen at one end, equipped with all that the cook will need, and a dining table in the centre, ideal for special celebrations, simple family suppers or an evening of board games. There’s a cosy double bedroom on this floor, too - a good choice for those who don’t appreciate too many stairs - plus a handsome family bathroom with a shower over the bath. A spacious lounge with a long Juliet balcony takes up the whole of the first floor, in which comfortable seating around a Smart TV shares the space with a foosball table. Linked to the mainland by both road bridge and ferry, Hayling Island offers five miles of shore where you can safely swim and play on the beach. It’s also a great destination for lovers of water sports, while walkers and cyclists will love the Hayling Billy Trail, a former railway line with views across to Portsmouth. Other great draws include Funland amusement park, 2.5 miles, pitch and putt, 3.5 miles, the donkey sanctuary, 3.5 miles, and the seaside railway, 2 miles.
