Stepping inside the property, the welcoming entrance hall leads through to the pretty lounge which offers stunning estuary views and an elegant dining table perfect for enjoying family feasts. This floor also has a charming snug with a Smart TV and wood burner, as well as a boot room, utility room and a beautifully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and Smart TV. Going up to the first floor, you will find four delightful bedrooms – three king-size and a twin. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, while the remaining rooms have access to the family bathroom. The final bedroom is on the second floor: a spacious suite with a king-size bed, dressing room and beautiful en-suite bathroom. Outside, the large garage doubles as a games room where you can play table tennis, pool and darts. This secluded hillside retreat is just a mile’s stroll from the heart of Bideford, a cheerful port town with a choice of pubs, restaurants and shops along with a popular pannier market. The nearest beaches are the estuary beach at Instow and the stunning 2-mile stretch along Westward Ho! (both within 4 miles). Other local attractions include The BIG Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park and the historic village of Clovelly along the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast, all within 13 miles.

Mallacleave was chosen by us to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Its a Fabulous house, in great location and wonderful views across the river. All rooms decorated to a high standard. As a family of 10 there was plenty of room. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, especially the younger members of the family, even though it was rather chilly getting in and Read moreout. The games room is a great addition to keep the children entertained. We would love to return if we can herd all the family together again. Hide

This is a totally wonderful house and we had a fantastic week, enjoying the amazing location and views and all the activities - the pool table and hot tub were a special treat. Nearby, all three generations loved the Dartington Crystal factory tour, and Lundy was an experience not to be missed.

This house is light and airy and has stunning views - the main lounge/dining room is glassed all the way round and has the same lovely view. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and it is just a short walk into Bideford with really good bus connections to Westward Ho! , Appledore and Instow.
