Set within six acres of glorious gardens and surrounded by idyllic Welsh countryside, this 15th-century manor house provides the perfect venue to create special memories with family and friends. Sleeping up to 14 people in 7 bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, this impressive property is steeped in history and brimming with character. Boasting three reception rooms plus a formal dining room, it offers abundant space for relaxing and entertaining. Two outside terraces with outdoor tables and a detached barn with a pool table and seating means the party can spill outside – without worrying about annoying any neighbours.

Viewed by architectural historians as one of the most important vernacular architecture houses in Wales, the core of this beautiful old building dates from 1482. From the timber-framed exterior to the heavy beamed ceilings, stone floors, inglenook fireplaces and latched doors, the original features have been carefully preserved. Look carefully and you can even see medieval paintings and hex marks on timbers in the master bedroom, designed to keep witches at bay. Antique-style furniture and artworks add to the sense of history, while contemporary comforts ensure the property is suitable for the 21st century traveller. Divided into two adjoining rooms, the atmospheric, farmhouse-style kitchen is a delight for chefs to prepare meals in, with a double AGA and an electric oven. Then fill the air with laughter and chatter as you gather in the formal dining room for celebratory mealtimes, the patio doors thrown open in warm weather. Three generous lounges offer flexibility, whether you wish to gather together or spread out and enjoy a little quiet time. The two larger lounges both feature wood burners and Smart TVs, while the snug is ideal for curling up with your current read when you need a little quiet time. With two bedrooms on the ground floor, one on the lower ground floor, three on the first floor and a triple room that’s perfect for children in the attic, this property can easily accommodate large families or large groups of friends. Three bathrooms keep morning queues to a minimum.
