Chaxhall Barn is a lovely old barn, very warm and comfortable. Could do with a little TLC but overall we had a great party weekend. Pool table was a great success and the dogs loved the fire. Beds were comfortable and nice linen.

Lovely property with plenty of space for all the family. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The Aga was amazing to have. We also used the fire pit to toast marshmallows which the children very much enjoyed.

Lovely converted barn in a senic location. Lots of outdoor space. It has a well stocked kitchen with an aga that was used extensively. A great getaway for a group of friends meeting up after Covid. Due to steps at the property it did not meet all of our needs, but for a group without a wheelchair user it would be excellent. A genuinely lovely propeRead morerty with only one drawback that was specific to us. Hide

Overall a decent location, and a large enough property for the family. The annex in particular was a gorgeous part of the place! There could have been a higher standard of cleanliness and better Wi-fi connection throughout the property . A recommendation would be to provide floor plan, as it wasn't clear one bedroom could only be accessed by going Read morethrough another. A folder/information pack with local amenities would be useful to have and to note the outside light on the side was not working. Hide

We were a large family group ranging from 5 months to 75 years. Kitchen was well equipped and always warm because of the Aga. Enjoyed the Kadai for barbecuing and also made pizzas. Some of us had an excellent meal at the Wye Fishery and Smokery at the other end of the lane. Lots to do in the area. We had a good day out at Over Farm and also visitedRead more Westbury Gardens, Beechenhurst and Mallards Pike Lake. Dick Whittington's Playbarn was enjoyed by the younger ones on a rainy morning.
