Located in the Cornish countryside within easy reach of the coast, you can enjoy the best of both worlds with days out spent hiking Cadson Bury Hill Fort (0.5 miles) for the views, or relaxing in the charming fishing town of Looe (15.5 miles).

Filled with natural colours from the local landscape, this spacious farmhouse has a warm and welcoming ambience from the moment you step through the door. The heart of the home is the living room with an impressive vaulted ceiling lined with beams, and natural light pouring in through the triple-aspect windows offering a serene space to relax and share stories with one another. Alternatively, the snug is a smaller, more intimate space with a warming wood burner set into a beautiful exposed stone fireplace. For mealtimes, eight luxurious leather chairs surround a wooden table for sharing memories over breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each of the bedrooms on the first floor is tastefully decorated for a good night’s rest with views of the country out of the windows – an idyllic sight to wake up to each morning. Enjoy dinner out on the patio area whilst the sun is shining, surrounded by mature trees and a lush green lawn, or head out for dinner at the local pub, just 2 miles away. For an action-packed adventure, visit Adrenaline Quarry (10 miles) where a whole host of family-friendly activities await, including go-karting, zip lining, axe throwing and an aquapark. Avid walkers will love the opportunity to explore the mystical landscapes of Bodmin Moor. The magnificent Golitha Falls (11 miles) is one of the most worthwhile beauty spots to see; the spot sees water cascading down the 90-metre series of drops and is paired with a fantastic picnic area. On the Devon/Cornwall border, you’ll find the fine farm shop of Strawberry Fields Lifton, where throughout the year, an array of pick-your-own opportunities are on offer, from wildflowers and strawberries to pumpkins and lavender, as well as a marvellous cafe serving up freshly baked sweet and savoury treats.

Cobbledicks House was a stunning place to stay. The owners have clearly tried to think of everything, like the amount of different types of glasses and cups, plates etc to use. The cottage was clean and furnished to a very high standard. They even thought about the pets and left a bowel and a towel for them. Beautiful, cosy cottage, we wanted for nothing. Well presented and ample space for 7/8 people. I would recommend and return anytime on this experience. Great river walks and a 5 minute drive to the village. Well done and thank you Cobbledicks!

Amazing gorgeous cottage , fantastic attention to detail, very well equipped. Had a outstanding welcome, with welcome gift basket, even milk in the fridge!!. Cobbledicks Cottage was an amazing getaway for me and my friends. Having two separate lounges with TVs really helped and multiple bedrooms with detachable double-beds. The neighbours are absolutely lovely and Newbridge is a beautiful place right next to a nice walk beside the river. A very nice cottage located just across the bridge to a lovely walk through woods with a river running along the side. . Beautifully furnished with everything you need and very comfortable. A real gem of a find, home from home. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.
