This delightful home for eight is the ideal spot for your next BIG getaway. With unspoilt views across the marshes near Hamford Water National Nature Reserve and Horsey Island (6 miles), this property is perfect for families or groups of friends to get together and enjoy celebrating among nature. Four bedrooms sleep your guests and there’s space for up to three dogs, so no one gets left behind. A haven for cyclists, the lockable bike storage means you can get out and explore the fantastic Route 51 that connects most of the south coast. But if that’s not your thing, worry not – pop to the farm shop just 650 metres away and cook up a storm in the fabulous kitchen, sitting down to enjoy it with your favourite people.

This holiday property suits a variety of guest combinations thanks to its different social spaces. While the stylish kitchen diner is perfect to enjoy breakfasts together, the pastel tones, pretty furnishings and wood-burner style electric fire in the sitting room make it an ideal spot to curl up in and reflect on your day. Through the sliding doors, a cosy snug features a well-stocked library of books and games to keep everyone occupied, but the games room is where this property comes into its own. Watch TV or play snooker or table football to instil some rivalry among you and your guests. You’re just a 2-mile walk from the stunning marshes where you can stroll along the banks of the estuary at Beaumont and Landemere Quays. If the kids will find that at little boring, head to charming Frinton-on-Sea Beach (7.5 miles) where dogs can join you out of season. Popular Clacton-on-Sea is only 8 miles away too. If you’re looking for a more relaxing afternoon, head to the spa in Thorpe-le-Soken (3 miles), or take in the stunning views at Bourne Mill (14 miles). The thrill seekers among you will love paddleboarding, windsurfing and more at Alton Water Sports Centre (14.5 miles) – but there’s something for everyone there, as there are plenty of walking trails to stroll along too.

A wonderful property to spend time away in, beautifully clean, comfortable, well equipped and with lovely decor. Everything had been thought about to make our holiday a truly delightful one. We had a great few days there and went home relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you.

The house was perfect for what we needed as a family. It was clean and well thought out in terms of space and facilities. The children (and adults) loved the games room. We were aged between 11 - 70 years old with a dog. The garden was secure for our dog and there were some nice local dog walks. What a wonderful spacious family & dog friendly holiday home. Lucy & Rich are fabulous hosts, nothing to much trouble. Well equipped & thought out throughout the whole house. We really enjoyed our stay at Estuary View. Lucy and Rich are great hosts and have really thought about the House as a fun base in the area and provided excellent facilities and entertainment indoors and out. This is a real gem of a property. It was a perfect size for four adults and four children to comfortably spend time and close to a playpark! The location is great for spending time both at the coast and going to location attractions such as Colchester Zoo or Jimmys Farm which our children loved.
