On entering this quirky and beautifully updated cottage, you will find the cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Featuring exposed stone walls, wooden beams and stone flooring, this rustic living area provides a fantastic space for everyone to gather together for a special occasion or to relax at the end of a great day. The lounge has plenty of seating and a welcoming wood burner so you can sit back and watch a movie in the evening. There’s a sociable dining area and country-style kitchen which is a pleasure to cook your favourite meals in. The ground floor also has a games room with a football table, plus a handy utility room, a stylish shower room and a lovely bathroom with a freestanding roll-top bath, as well as the first of the cottage’s four charming bedrooms: a sweet double room. The first floor can be accessed via two separate staircases. From the games room, stairs lead up to a cheerful king-size bedroom. A second staircase is at the other end of the barn, leading up to a pretty twin bedroom and then through to a charming king-size bedroom. Please note: the upstairs bedrooms are set in the eaves of the house and do have some restricted head height. Going outside, the first part of the garden features a lawn with a central path and outdoor furniture, and makes a great space for children to run about. A stone archway leads through to the enclosed walled garden which has a paved patio, further outdoor furniture and a lovely hot tub.

The cottage is just 3 miles from the sandy beach at Cemaes Bay and makes a great base for exploring the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path. Nature lovers can head to the Cemlyn Nature Reserve (2.5 miles) which is home to a range of sea birds. Other local attractions and landmarks include Parys Mountain Windmill (10 miles), Mynydd Parys (9.5 miles) and the Copper Kingdom Centre in the thriving port town of Amlwch (8.5 miles).

an excellent, cosy cottage that we felt at home instantly. the rooms were spotless and sofas and beds extremely comfortable. very private with plenty of area for the kids to play in the hot tub was a great addition.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay. The working farm added to the experience. The children loved going to look at the cows and sheep. The early morning walks in the surrounding country side and easy access to Anglesey sights all worthwhile.

We really enjoyed our stay here, having everything we needed. The property was cosy, clean, and well equipped for our holiday. The hot tub was spotless and a good temperature throughout the stay. The barn is a lovely place for a family with little ones and a dog to enjoy a fun filled holiday at Anglesey. The barn is well equipped with everyday items for cooking and washing up. The cottage is in a great location and has been decorated to a high standard very in keeping with what it originally was and by keeping some of the original features and with underfloor heating was a very nice relaxing place to stay. This cottage is perfect for a little getaway with family and/or friends. I stayed here for a week with 7 family members and we all had the best time! This cottage has the wow factor! Great garden area with beautiful views. Inside well thought out, clean and tidy. Fully equipped with everything you could need, comfy beds, fabulously decorated with lovely little touches. Party of 7 and the dog fit us all perfectly.
