Broadstairs has seven sandy beaches and offers bucket loads of family fun – beautiful Joss Bay, less than a mile from your doorstep, is a surfer’s paradise and offers a wide expanse of sand for safe play. The town was Charles Dickens’ favourite holiday spot – there’s an annual festival in his honour – and is home to charming fishermen’s cottages and unspoilt streets lined with independent shops. If you’ve an appetite for good food, you’ll love the choice of quaint cafes and smart eateries here; walk up an appetite with a stroll along the Viking Trail that stretches from Ramsgate to Reculver, or try a round of golf at the North Foreland course that’s directly behind your holiday home. History buffs will delight in a day trip to Canterbury, 18 miles away. For an outing full of contrasts, Margate (3 miles) is home to the acclaimed Turner Contemporary Gallery and the iconic Dreamland amusement park, where vintage rides include the UK's oldest wooden roller coaster.

An absolutely georgous place to spend a holiday! Super stylish decor and great amenities in the most charming place of Thanet. Highly recommended. The outdoor kitchen must be such a delight in the summer.

This holiday home has everything you would want and more. My 3 year-old granddaughter was delighted with the boxes and boxes of toys to play with including the fully furnished dolls house in her bedroom. The Kitchen was more than fully equipped, as was the outside garden kitchen. The Pizza oven and BBQ were well used.

Ah, we had a lovely week in Broadstairs. The house is really beautiful and luxurious feeling. It is very well equipped, we had everything we might need at our disposal. The owners were very helpful with a couple of questions, and when I left something behind at the property. There was a yummy welcome package too. The nearby beach is lovely, plenty Read moreof parking, toilets and a cafe. There are plenty of places to visit within 10-15 minutes drive, we loved the main town Broadstairs. Hide

The house is wonderful, as are the hosts. Clean and welcoming, better than in the pictures. Nice personal touches from the owners on arrival and they were always very speedy to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommended.

Rose by the Bay is the perfect holiday house with so many personal touches. The kitchen was very well equipped making meal preparation for a large party a breeze. Wonderful house, so nicely decorated, very thoughtful touches, highly recommended and we had a lovely stay. We were a mixed family group and all felt very welcome. The decor is very fresh and stylish. The house has been very thoughtfully restored, with a beautiful garden and entertaining spaces. The style is Scandi, with lots of home comforts too.
