This was a last-minute booking and the property was everything we could've hoped for and more it was spotlessly clean and there was so many personal touches that made us feel so welcome. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone.

An outstanding property in all respects. Clean, very comfortable, all modern amenities and exceptionally well-equipped. Great attention to detail by the owner. Lovely garden - our only regret was that we were there over a relatively cool Easter weekend so couldn't make full use of all the facilities on offer, although we did manage a barbecue. We loved Roman House! It's even better in the flesh than we expected - rooms are so spacious! Beds SO comfy, showers great, beautifully clean, kitchen facilities fab, lots of outdoor space & handy shop over the road. Charlotte was lovely and so accommodating. We loved the property. The property is very thoughtfully planned out. The beds were very good and everything you'd need was provided. What we were most impressed with was the quality of all the facilities. We've rented houses with cinema rooms before and they tend to be just a TV in a room. This is a high-end projector with cinema seats and with fuRead morell surround sound. The kitchen as well has a high quality oven, fridge etc. Lovely garden which is perfect for dog and kids. We stayed as two families, each of four, plus two dogs. The house is brilliant, the kids loved the cinema room and we had to throw them out to watch the rugby! The garden is enclosed and perfect to play the games that are provided. All facilities are provided, the kitchen has the little items like salt, pepper, etc (trust me, some places dont have Read morethem!) and a bottle of wine was there for us on arrival. This is a lovely house which has plenty of room for a larger group but also felt cosy enough for our family of four. The kids loved the cinema room with the PlayStation. There were loads of dvds and games covering a full range of ages which was really nice. A beautiful house with large rooms and high ceilings, renovated to a very high standard . Our host Charlotte was very welcoming and helpful. This was one of the best cottages we have stayed in with all age ranges from small children to grandparents catered for. The cinema went down particularly well. It was a lovely garden for the children to play in.

What a fantastic holiday house - we loved staying at Roman House. The house is amazing; so spacious and comfortable. Fabulous garden. Very useful utility room for storing all our stuff and putting the crate for our dog. Opposite the house is a village store - extremely handy for quick purchases.

Such a beautiful house. It is one of the best we've stayed in. It had everything you could need and was really well equipped. The beds were really comfortable and the cinema room complete with play station was a massive hit with us all. Definitely recommend this property if you want a relaxing week / weekend away.
