Get away from it all in this beautiful rural escape, where you can lounge in the hot tub while admiring the idyllic views and breathing in the fresh country air. As you soak, children can play on the swing or run around the garden, and afterwards you can eat supper together on the patio or in the lovely conservatory. Sleeping eight in four en-suite bedrooms, all with Smart TVs, this is a fabulous bolthole for multi-generational families or groups of friends, just an hour on the train from London and close to a range of excellent attractions.

With generously sized rooms that are full of light, this single-storey property has been decorated in an appealing country-modern style, bound to make you feel welcome and relaxed. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out, whether you want to sink into the soft seating in the lounge and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV, read a book in the conservatory or challenge the little ones to a game of foosball at the multi-functional games table in the hall. The formal dining table is in the conservatory, a delightful spot in which to linger as you recount your day’s adventures. And don’t worry about warmth in winter - the room has underfloor heating for cosy toes all year round. This room leads straight into the kitchen, which has everything necessary for cooking up delicious group suppers, with a breakfast table at the far end for quick and easy dining. A separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer will help you keep on top of laundry, and there’s a handy WC, too. The bedrooms - three doubles and a twin - possess the same calm ambience as the rest of the house, and each has its own en-suite bathroom with a rainfall power shower and underfloor heating. For relaxing tired muscles the hot tub on the patio seats six people, and the outside space also includes a one-acre paddock which would be perfect for a family kickabout or playing catch. Please note that the owners live in an adjacent barn.

We had a fantastic week in this fabulous house! It is so spacious and has absolutely everything you could hope for. It is in a peaceful, rural location with a very good pub a short drive away. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and having an en-suite to each one is brilliant. The large garden is completely enclosed so very safe for our dogs. ThRead moree hot tub and games table were both big hits with our young adults! Thank you so much Faye and Barry. Hide

I and my girlfriends had a fab time at your cottage. The place was neat, tidy & spacious. Wifi worked smoothly, you were always on hand to sort out any issue we had even when Barry hurt his waist & you communicated well. We'll definitely recommend to friends & family. Thanks
