Drink in the salty coastal air from this sophisticated cottage, perfectly positioned for exploring the beautifully rugged Northumbrian coastline. With space to host eight guests across four rooms (plus up to three waggy-tailed tag-alongs) this stylish bolthole is a wonderful base for celebrating that special occasion with friends and family by your side. Gather the troops for a blustery saunter along the sweeping golden sands of Embleton Bay (3 miles), the ideal location for sand-racers, ball-chasers, and easy-amblers alike. Warm chilly toes in the ambient glow of your crackling wood burner and settle in for an evening of reminiscing and long-overdue catch-ups.

This thoughtfully styled hideaway features a contemporary interior with opulent leather textures, crisp neutral tones, and a large open-plan social space. Step into the entranceway and hang windbreakers by the door then venture into the lounge. Open the bifold doors to bask in the balmy summer breeze then spread out on the spacious sofas to de-brief over a chilled tipple. In colder months, throw another log on the wood burner, curl up on the plush chairs and fire up the Smart TV to set the mood with an upbeat playlist. Potter into the kitchen/diner and rustle up a hearty feast or shake up some pre-dinner drinks for your guests of honour perched at the glossy granite island. Tempt everyone into the diner with the scent of sumptuous home cooking then raise your glasses and toast before digging into a celebratory supper. Choose from four sleek bedrooms set across both floors of the property, each boasting a Smart TV for leisurely movie marathons, as well as tranquil garden views. Morning routines will be a breeze with a shower room, a bathroom, and a separate WC. Little ones and furry friends can play in the lawned garden or scope out the children’s play area. For a memorable evening, sink into the sumptuous bubbles of the open-air hot tub and create the perfect atmosphere with soft mood lighting and your favourite album on the Bluetooth speaker.

This is a very well presented home with excellent facilities. The garden is large and was very much enjoyed by our dogs. The hot tub was put to good use by the younger family members even in January! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
