Enjoying a secluded and tranquil location close to the glorious North Devon coast, this beautifully furnished single-storey holiday home provides a lovely getaway for up to 12 guests. The property is within easy reach of some gorgeous sandy beaches and vibrant seaside resorts, and makes a great base for discovering the area’s spellbinding scenery. Featuring a stylish main living area, five relaxing bedrooms, a tennis table, a delightful garden, and a snug/games room, the property makes a fantastic retreat for groups of friends enjoying a break together, or for larger families enjoying a coastal holiday.

A few steps lead up and into the property which has a spacious, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The pretty lounge has a Smart TV and plenty of seating, providing a fantastic space for everyone to get together to enjoy a movie or chat about the day. The central dining table is perfect for enjoying a celebratory meal together, which you can rustle up over in the elegantly designed kitchen which has a useful additional breakfast bar. At the centre of the room, there’s a table tennis table for the more competitive members of the group. When it’s time to retire for the night, there are five bedrooms beautifully decorated in soft warming tones: there are three lovely king-size rooms with en-suite bathrooms, plus two charming triple rooms each with three single beds. The cottage also has a large family bathroom and a cheerful snug which doubles as a games room, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, table football and lots of board games, making a fantastic space for younger guests to get away from the adults. Heading back outside, steps lead down into the enclosed garden which offers stunning views out to sea. Featuring a charcoal BBQ and outdoor furniture, there’s also plenty of space for children to run about and play on the large trampoline.

The property is just a mile from the seaside village of Lee where you can go paddleboarding or coasteering, or spend a day on the quiet beach. Woolacombe is just 3 miles away, with one of the best surfing beaches in the world, as well as golden sands stretching along for 3 miles. There are plenty of great places to eat and drink throughout the area, with the bustling seaside town of Ilfracombe (5.5 miles) offering a choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as some lovely beaches and the historic harbour looked over by the towering Damien Hirst sculpture Verity. Other local attractions include Watermouth Family Theme Park and Castle, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Exmoor Zoo and Saunton Sands, all within 15 miles.

We stayed here for my birthday with a family of 10. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. All of the bedrooms were furnished to a high standard. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was great and we made good use of the hot tub and bbq. Beautiful location and the house was stunning! So spacious and perfect for our getaway. The property has a lovely hot tub, spacious open plan area and a ping pong table. Would definitely recommend this property and would definitely go back!

We loved the space, hot tub, patio and garden. As it was a bit rainy we could enjoy ourselves with games, food and table tennis indoors which was excellent. The walk to Lee Bay was exciting too. Thank you so much!!

We just had an incredible family holiday at Quay West. The house is amazing and perfect for a special celebration. We were six adults, four children and a dog. The house is so spacious and well laid out for children - with stacks of space for them to play or chill out. The garden, outdoor decking, eating area, BBQ and hot tub were a big hits, it waRead mores pure heaven sitting with a view of the sea in such a quiet, special place.
