The stark expanses of Exmoor National Park are just a few miles to the east, or you can make the most of some lovely, secluded resorts as you head south-west along the gorgeous coastline.

Stepping into this elegantly updated townhouse, the long hallway leads you through into the bright and enticing open-plan lounge/diner. The airy and inviting lounge has a Smart TV, plenty of seating and a lovely wood burner, making a welcoming space for you all to relax in at the end of a fabulous day exploring Ilfracombe. The charming diner has a useful desk area as well as a sleek dining table perfect for everyone to gather around for a special family meal. Further down the hall, the light-filled kitchen has a small breakfast bar and a range of essential equipment. Going upstairs, the first floor features a family bathroom and the first two of the property’s four relaxing and tastefully decorated bedrooms – a cheerful twin and a pretty king-size room with an en-suite shower room. Finally, heading up to the second floor, you will find a charming snug room which has a Smart TV, gaming console and seating, making a great space for children and teenagers to get away from the adults. This floor has the final two bedrooms – a double room and a spacious triple room with a double bed and an additional single bed. Ilfracombe Beach is just 500 metres from the property, with Wildersmouth Beach and the unique Tunnels Beaches both nearby. A half-mile stroll will take you into the vibrant centre of the town, with plenty of great places to eat and drink, a cinema, amusements, the Landmark Theatre and the Damien Hirst sculpture Verity towering over the harbour’s entrance. You could also visit Ilfracombe's Aquarium, a Sea Safari and Bicclescombe Park. Along the coast are the gorgeous beaches of Croyde (9 miles) and Woolacombe (6 miles) to the south-west and Combe Martin in Exmoor (6 miles) to the east.

Watermouth Castle is close by with a family themed park and castle, also Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park just 7 miles away. If you enjoy horse riding, there is an Equestrian Centre just over a mile away.
