The property is also well placed for days out to the historic city of York, 14 miles away, with its fabulous shopping streets and many attractions.
Make your way into your new home from home via the boot room, where you can discard your wellies and jackets after country walks. From here, head through to the kitchen/diner to make a cup of tea or pour yourselves a glass of something chilled from the wine fridge. Sip it up at the breakfast bar while you decide what to cook your party for dinner. Open the French windows to the garden so you can wander outside on balmy evenings. Dine in here later on before moving through to one of the two lounges, each with a TV. Light the wood burner in either of these inviting spaces, then play games or chat in the cosy glow. Also downstairs is a handy utility room and a WC. All four bedrooms are on the first floor of the property, where there are additional stairs from the landing.
