This large townhouse property, right on the seafront of Morecambe Bay, has space to accommodate nine guests across five bedrooms. Its high ceilings, cosy bedrooms and spacious shared areas make it ideal for large family or friend get-togethers. There’s plenty to do right on the doorstep, so entertaining a wide range of ages is easy, while the accommodation is homely and comfortable.

You’ll notice how well thought out the accommodation is for big groups from the moment you enter. There’s storage space in its hallway for all outerwear or sandy shoes after a day out. Immediately on your left, you’ll see the property’s lounge. It’s an inviting space with plenty of light and even has a cosy snug behind it that also benefits from light from the patio doors that lead outside. The home’s kitchen/diner is along the hall and is a wonderfully sociable space. It has a dining table that accommodates the entire group, so it’s good for mealtimes but also for any board games or activity planning. Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find a family bathroom, while a couple more steps will take you to two of the bedrooms. One has a super-king-size bed and has the added wow factor of double doors opening to a balcony with wonderful sea views. The second bedroom is a double. Up to the next level are two handy shower rooms, and head up the last flight and you’ll find the last three bedrooms. These comprise a single, a double and a super-king-size which can be turned into a twin should you need it. The double benefits from sensational panoramic sea views. The property’s front is home to its decked area that has lots of seating and a bench for watching the waves. There’s also an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and a BBQ to the rear for al fresco dining when the weather allows.

Whilst Morecambe is home to one of the prettiest sandy beaches in Lancashire, it has lots of other amenities such as shops, bars and several amusement arcades. For those that like a bit of history, the journey to Lancaster, with its mediaeval castle, is only 6 miles. Lancaster is also home to four interesting museums. It’s also easy to go exploring in the wider countryside, with the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Forest of Bowland both under 25 miles away.

Wonderful location, friendly neighbourhood. If the weather is good the front garden is the best place to be! House could do with some love and attention. But we really enjoyed our stay.

It is a beautiful older property in a stunning location and great for all local amenities and easy access to other areas. We enjoyed our stay there. The owner was very responsive too and friendly, which is always a big bonus.

This house is in a perfect position overlooking Morecambe Bay. Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms, lovely lounge and good kitchen.

Booked for a party of 9 , a very large and impressive house fantastic views. A little cramped at dinning table. Comfortable beds . Not alway enough hot water available, prompt response from owner when queries arose. A lovely stay had by all.

A very well equipped house in a fantastic location. The beach, splash park, play park and cafe all within 2 or 3 minutes. Beach isdog friendly all year and supermarket just behind the house. The owners dealt with an issue we had immediately. Definitely recommend this one.
