Perfect for larger families and groups of friends discovering this magical part of the South Wales coastline, this friendly and refreshing retreat is close to miles of beautiful, unspoilt sandy beaches. The cottage is also ideal for keen walkers and cyclists discovering the fabulous vistas of the Millennium Coastal Path as it winds along the Carmarthenshire coast from Pembrey Country Park to Llanelli.

This fresh and inviting property features a bright, cosy and welcoming lounge with a Smart TV, plenty of seating and a range of board games, providing an ideal space for everyone to get together and unwind at the end of a great day out. Featuring a wide range of equipment, the stylishly designed kitchen/diner provides a sociable space for everyone to gather to cook and share a fantastic family meal. Heading upstairs, the first floor has a family bathroom and two light and colourful bedrooms: a lovely double room and a pretty king-size room with its own en-suite shower room. Another flight of stairs leads up to the second floor and a spacious bunk bedroom with desk and a telescope, providing an ideal space for children. This floor also features a sweet, nautically themed twin room with a low-sloping ceiling. Stepping outside, the enclosed front garden looks out towards the harbour and features a table and chairs and a garden parasol, providing a charming space to relax. The enclosed back garden is more private and is a lovely spot for dining alfresco at the end of a fabulous day.

A quiet town along the South Wales Coast, Burry Port has a great range of pubs, shops, cafes, tearooms and restaurants. The property overlooks the marina and yacht club, and is close to a lovely sandy beach. The town is also known for the Amelia Earhart Monument and a striking lighthouse. Also nearby is Ashburnham Golf Club (0.5 miles), one of the oldest courses in Wales. You can also head to the thriving market town of Llanelli (6 miles) which is home to the WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre, Parc Howard Museum, the Parc y Scarlets rugby union stadium and Llanelly House. There are plenty of activities to try in the stunning surroundings of Pembrey Country Park (3 miles) including horse riding, dry-slope skiing, crazy golf and tobogganing. For fans of motor sports, the Pembrey Circuit is nearby (4.5 miles) or you can enjoy a flutter at Ffos Las Racecourse (6 miles), or step back in time to explore the medieval Kidwelly Castle (5.5 miles).

A very comfortable and well equipped property in a perfect location for exploring this area of West Wales. The amazing beach and coastal path just a few minutes walk away and a short distance from the station with regular trains to easily travel further afield for the day. The crepe cafe opposite was also a great treat!

The location of this property is superb! Just a five minute walk from the front door leads onto miles of unspoiled sandy beaches. The town itself has everything you could need and the surrounding pubs and restaurants were all very welcoming. The cafe opposite the property is great and again, all staff very friendly.

Great property in a great location, we had a wonderful time and would stay again. The property had everything we needed, although a little more loo roll and washing up liquid would be useful for 6 people staying a week. Very good cottage in lovely location. The cottage was well equipped and beds comfortable. It is situated very close to the beach and harbour. In spite of the dreadful weather, we enjoyed walks around the harbour and once played cricket on the beach. Nearby Pembrey Country Park is great too. We had an absolutely brilliant time at Glanfa - it was perfect for our group of 4 adults, 4 children and a dog. Clean, bright and comfortable inside and with a fantastic outside space: large table and chairs plus gas barbecue and wood burner - we ate al fresco every night and toasted marshmallows nearly every night too! The house was fantastic one could not have had a better house. There was everything one needed in the kitchen l was just so impressed by the quality of the sheets and towels and so much had been put into making it such a lovely stay. This cottage and location is perfect for dogs and their owners. The best one weve stayed at so far. The beaches are dog friendly all year round. The garden is properly secure with patio, artificial grass and outdoor hose. So dogs were always clean. A variety of walks and local shops are very close to the house. Cafe just across the street.
