While away sunny afternoons on the beach opposite this striking, five-storey holiday home when you book it for a group stay in Wales. Set in the popular seaside village of Aberdyfi, also known as Aberdovey, the five-bedroom townhouse looks right over towards the water from its outstanding position right at the heart of the coastal hub. With shops, cafes and restaurants all within 200m of this special retreat, you and your family and friends will experience a holiday to remember. Set in the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park, Aberdyfi overlooks both spectacular Cardigan Bay and the picturesque Dyfi Estuary. Ideal for those who enjoy coast walking and hill hiking, it also offers the potential to indulge in a range of water activities, from swimming and surfing to canoeing and paddleboarding.

Make your way up the outside steps to the front door of your period abode and let yourselves in to discover a warm welcome and accommodation offering both character and comfort. Find yourselves in a lounge/diner, where you can recline on the soft seating, switch on the TV and simply unwind after your exhilarating day out. Light the open fire in the dining area on chilly evenings and lay the table here for jolly holiday feasts together. Wander into the kitchen to pop your beachwear into the washer/dryer, make a cup of coffee in the machine and start thinking about what to prepare for dinner, using all the modern equipment and your own ingredients. Head down to the lower ground floor to a twin bedroom, with en-suite shower room and its own relaxation space, complete with TV and PS4. A single bedroom, with en-suite shower room, and a super-king-size, with en-suite bathroom, can be found on the first floor. Venture on up to the next level to discover a king-size bedroom, plus a family bathroom, with free-standing bath. Another twin, with TV, DVD and en-suite bathroom with stylish bath, is on the third floor. Guests will be given two permits for use in all Aberdyfi’s car parks, including the one at the beach opposite.

Savour the convenience of having everything you need right on the doorstep of your Aberdyfi retreat or enjoy the village as a base from which to explore further. Make a trip to Tywyn, 4 miles away, which also looks out across Cardigan Bay and has a beach and range of shops and eateries. Hire bikes here and head off into Snowdonia with your party. Plan a trip to Corris, 9 miles away, where younger members of your group will be entranced by the underground caverns at King Arthur’s Labyrinth and you can browse in the studios at the famous craft centre.

This is a fantastic house in a perfect location. Love that the enormous bedrooms (with very comfy beds) mostly look out Over the sea. We swam every morning and it was a luxury to be so close to the beach. Fell in love with the peacefulness of Aberdyfi.

3 generations spent Christmas in this five storey house. The basement lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms were a great size. There were excellent views from the property and the house was in a great location with parking across the road and easy access to the beach and village. Fabulous location, v comfortable, great views, lovely to park up the car and be able to walk to beach, shops and the many places to eat. Crabbing always great in Aberdovey, much fun for all ages! What a beautiful house and amazing location. Three generations loved our holiday together and there was something for everyone to do. Could not have asked for a better place to spend our summer break.

3 generation of our family, aged 15 to 90, had a very enjoyable week at Bodfor. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are high quality and comfortable. There was everything we needed in the kitchen and the house was tastefully decorated throughout. Great location for local shops, pubs and restaurants and the lovely beach. A well presented comfortable base, right at the beachfront of Aberdovey. We had a great time and would definitely come again if we had the same group size.
