Nestled amongst the Mid Wales countryside just 12.5 miles from beautiful Llandrindod Wells is this lavish former barn that’s an ideal vantage point for family adventures. Comfortable, luxurious and brimming with home comforts for up to eight guests, you’ll be ideally located for outdoor pursuits such as fishing, walking and golf. For those who prefer a quieter pace, you are sure to find something more tempting amongst the pretty streets of Llandrindod Wells to suit your palate, be it tempting tearooms or a fabulous cluster of independent shops. On your return, the hot tub awaits for leisurely evenings stargazing with a drink in hand.

Approach your wooden-clad accommodation and step inside to find an impressive retreat characterised by stylish furniture, chic decor and all the thoughtful details you could wish for in a holiday abode. Set out in an open-plan style, the lounge/kitchen/diner is the heart of the home with ample socialising space in the deceptively cosy lounge and around the dining table. Cook up a storm in the contemporary kitchen, putting the electric Range oven and hob to good use. There’s a separate utility room for practicality, ready to take on the task of drying your outdoor gubbins whilst you curl up by the wood burner-effect electric fire in the lounge. All four bedrooms are upstairs on the first floor, providing a restful sanctuary for a peaceful night’s sleep. Each one is equipped with an en-suite for an added touch of elegance, but the biggest treat of all is the hot tub outside in the garden. There’s also garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining, plus bicycle rack storage and off-road parking for three cars.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Lins River Barn, thank you! It has everything you can need and more. When first walking in, it has the wow factor with all the space, complimented by a lovely welcome basket. The hot tub is a brilliant size, as is the garden (great to stretch our dog's legs!), and the bedrooms too. Great to all be en-suites and have Read moresmart TVs. Lovely big barn with large hot tub which is welcome after a walk. Fabulous welsh countryside but need a car to get anywhere- Newtown is nearest at 20 minutes away. Big secure garden for the dog. Overall nice holiday but there could be a few tweaks to make the experience even better with some additional equipment and attention to detail.
