Encircled by over 240 acres of farmland, the location is a natural playground, but you’ll be placed just 2 miles from the golden sandy beaches and rugged clifftop walks along the South West Coast Path. Bude is 9.5 miles away, but the North Devon coastline is within touring reach if you aim for Westward Ho! 20 miles away.

Brimming with old-world charm topped with timber beams and classic furniture, your abode is thoughtfully furnished and primed for relaxing en masse. Sink into the deep sofas in the lounge with snacks at the ready, switching on your favourite films to enjoy by the wood burner. A second lounge also carries a country cottage vibe with its open fire and gentle decor, adjoining the marvellous kitchen that’s fit for a feast with its sleek cabinetry and range of appliances and gadgets. There’s so much choice when it comes to perching with your morning coffee, but if you slip outside to the shared garden, the views are simply spectacular to marvel at over breakfast. Upstairs are four elegant bedrooms, one of which interconnects with an adjoining bedroom, the hallway and the family bathroom that features a Jacuzzi bath, a rainfall-style shower and a WC. A short drive will bring you to the coast for long days on the beach, swimming in the sea and catching the surf. Bude (9.5 miles) has a treasure trove of shoreline amusements and eateries to peruse, and you can even challenge your most adventurous family members to paddle boating along the canal. For those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on dry land, you’ll have lots of options when it comes to coffee shops and cake treats too. Take things up a notch and thrill the youngest visitors with a fun-filled day out at an attraction such as The Big Sheep or the Milky Way Adventure Park, both within 18 miles.

A lovely spacious and well equipped cottage. We loved our stay here as a group of 5 adults and 1 young child. The cottage is very spacious and all the bedrooms are beautifully decorated. Lovely, comfortable farmhouse which was perfect for our family holiday consisting of all adults. Good base to explore the beautiful North Cornwall beaches.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property; it was clean, spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Although outside of Bude, it was only a short drive and was easy to get to many of the nearby beaches. Only downside is the fridge was extremely small for 8 adults, so we had to keep some of our food shop in a cool box.
