Positioned at the heart of the countryside, you’ll be based just 1 mile from the heart of Chulmleigh, a bustling community surrounded by glorious countryside yet not too far removed from North Devon’s most popular towns and villages. There’s a golf course and riding stables within the vicinity, plus a takeaway restaurant and pubs. The Little Dart, a tributary of the River Taw, runs through the town providing an excellent starting point for a scenic walk, but you’ll also have the Tarka Trail for hiking and cycling that follows the Taw through to Chulmleigh Forest. Enjoy a day out to RHS Rosemoor 13.5 miles away, marvel at Dartington Crystal 15 miles away or head to the coast and embrace the seaside charm of Westward Ho! 22 miles away. The rock pools and stretch of sand are sure to delight any beach enthusiast, but there is lots to do in terms of traditional amusements and restaurants too.

This is a fantastic cottage really clean and very well equipped Katie the owner of the property always checked the hot tub and made sure we didn't need anything and was helpfull telling us places to visit such a nice pleasant stay will book this again thankyou for the hospitality

Northleigh was a beautiful house with all mod-cons. It was clean and well-kept with great decor. Katie, the owner had thought of everything, from a lovely welcome pack and toiletries, Wi-Fi and even games/books available. The hot tub just added to the house and made a special weekend even better. Would definitely recommend. Amazing house!

Wonderful house, appliances, comfortable beds, clean hot tube & lovely & respectful owners. The homemade fresh scones with jam & clotted cream plus fresh milk waiting for when we arrived was a perfect touch to the home. A real gem lays behind the cobbled yard and green door. Our family of 5 adults and 7yr old had a fabulous holiday in this spacious and beautifully appointed house. A short walk from Chulmleigh's 2 pubs and shops (passing a lovely child's playground).
