The perfect property for a group retreat to experience the coast and countryside of Cornwall, this picturesque main wing of a farmhouse accommodates eight people sleeping across four bedrooms. Good-sized living areas make spending quality time together easy, and there’s entertainment on-site for fans of staying in. A games room will keep kids young and old busy, and the hot tub is a brilliant additional luxury to make your stay truly special. The popular seaside town of Bude is a 3.5-mile drive for bucket-and-spade days and relaxed sightseeing. There are adventures to be had close to home too, as by arrangement with the owner children can help out on the farm, collecting eggs and feeding calves. Wellies, helpfully, are provided.

A thoughtful welcome pack will greet you on your arrival to the cottage. Inside, it has a friendly charm, with colourful decor and rustic features throughout. The living areas are spacious and bright, ideal for a group to be able to socialise in comfortably, as well as spread out when a bit of quiet time is needed. Curl up in front of the wood burner in the lounge, with the TV/Blu-ray on to unwind, or set up a board game on the coffee table. Everyone can move around in the homely kitchen/diner without it being a squeeze, as people take turns to cook dinner and set the table. Evening entertainment can be found in the games room with table football and darts, but if you need a moment away then sit on the landing with a good book. The sofa is nestled beside a window, for natural light and pretty views. After a hot bath or shower and goodnights all-round, retire to one of the bedrooms, which each have their own unique colour scheme and style. There’s one bedroom on the ground floor, while the rest are on the first floor up the stairs. Wake well-rested to take brunch alfresco, breathing in the fresh air and looking over the surrounding fields. Make the most of the outside spaces when the weather is good, basking in the sun in the enclosed walled garden, and treating yourself to a dip in the hot tub.

Use of the owner’s beach hut in Bude is another brilliant extra when staying at this property. Pack your beach towels and your sun cream, and head down to the sand and sea at Summerleaze Beach (4 miles). Swimmers can take a dip in the Bude Sea Pool (4.5 miles). Further afield, explore the Hartland Cornwall Heritage Coast (6 miles) for sweeping ocean views and brisk walks, and follow the South West Coast Path as far as you feel like going.

Had a fabulous fortnight - farmhouse great - cosy - hosts amazing - perfect situation to tour Devon and Cornwall - nothing was too much trouble and we were provided with fresh eggs straight from the hens and their own milk from the dairy herd - would wholeheartedly recommend!

Lovely cottage for our family to spend a week in the summer holiday. The house was really nice, very clean and well equipped. The kids loved being able to collect eggs from the chickens and seeing the cows. Great hot tub and the brownies on arrival was a lovely touch!

The cottage is spacious, comfortable with very welcoming owners. The attention to detail across the accommodation was impeccable with the added bonus of a hot tub. Absolutely loved our long weekend. The cottage was so well equipped, we had everything we needed. The nice touch of fresh milk, eggs and brownies was a bonus. The winner for us was sitting in the hot tub each night, even in the rain! I would definitely recommend Scorsham cottage as a quiet retreat and somewhere you can unwind.

We stayed at Scorsham Farm as 2 families - 4 adults and 2 young children. We had an absolutely wonderful time! The property was very spacious, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The kids loves the games room and the garden with the trampoline which kept them entertained for hours. Fantastic! We had an amazing time at the farm house. We spent an indulgent week exploring nearby in the morning followed by a relaxing afternoon and evening in the hot tub, making tasty food the the homely kitchen and curled up by the fire with a book.

We really enjoyed our stay and particularly liked being on the farm and meeting the lovely owners. A small point but as someone with back problems I would have appreciated a higher comfortable chair in the the living room. But thank you for a lovely holiday.

A lovely farm house, with plenty of space. The adults enjoyed the games room, and the young grandchildren the trampoline. The jacuzzi was nice to relax in after a day out. The owners were very friendly, the grandchildren enjoyed the egg collecting and feeding the calves. We had a fantastic holiday in this comfortable and well equipped farm cottage. The owners were very welcoming and our 3 year old enjoyed seeing the tractors and collecting eggs. Milking the cows was an experience never to forget! We made good use of the beach hut and had some great days out in Bude and beyond.

We had an amazing time, very welcoming hosts, the house is lovely and the hot tub is the added bonus, the farm dogs and cats are gorgeous and friendly, we got to go and see the cows being milked, they gave us tips on where to go for bike rides etc, the welcome brownies,fresh eggs and milk were very tasty We would definitely love to come back *****
