A luxurious property that feels like a real home from home, this space is ideal for eight people and two dogs who want to enjoy exploring Devon’s coast and countryside. This detached home oozes style, with contemporary furnishings and decor, and plenty of room for all guests. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and the garage has been converted into a games room complete with a table tennis table. Close to the shops, the beach and plenty of tourist attractions, you’ll never be short of things to do.

Head inside to a bright and airy entrance warmed by underfloor heating throughout the downstairs. The open-plan lounge and kitchen is contemporary and social. Guests can enjoy cooking and preparing delicious food with plenty of storage and sideboard space to rustle something up. To the side of the kitchen is a separate utility room, useful and practical with a washing machine and a wine cooler. The lounge has lots of comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a warming wood burner, perfect for cosy nights in with your tipple of choice. Two bedrooms and a family bathroom are situated on the ground floor, while the further two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are located upstairs. The delightful garden is fully landscaped and enclosed with artificial turf and a pleasant patio area with comfortable furniture, ideal for al fresco dining. The garage has been converted into a games room, meaning it’s time to get competitive over table tennis with your loved ones. Parking is available for two cars outside the front of the property.

Braunton’s selection of shops, pubs and restaurants are within 0.5 miles and easily accessible on foot. If any of the group enjoy playing golf, Saunton Golf Course is one of the best in the UK. You will be spoiled for choice with beautiful beaches close by. The sweeping Saunton Sands is 2 miles away, popular Woolacombe Beach is 7 miles away, and the secluded Lee Bay is 10 miles away. Just down the road is Barnstaple (6 miles), a bustling and historic town sitting on the River Taw. Further afield you have the delightful town of Ilfracombe (8 miles) which has a picturesque harbour and range of shops and eateries to peruse. For fabulous family days out, head to Watermouth Family Theme Park and Castle (11.5 miles) and enjoy rides and attractions. Amusement farm park, The BIG Sheep is 16 miles from the property, and the superb Exmoor Zoo is 19 miles away.

Wasnt sure what to do at end of holiday as no instructions. Nice but could do with knowing if needed to strip beds, etc. otherwise wonderful place to stay

A very well positioned, beautifully furnished property. Extremely spacious for 8 people and we enjoyed the games room very much. Nice touches included the wine fridge, great glass selection, good coffee machine and bbq. The cottage is very well positioned for great walks, fabulous beaches and pubs & restaurants too.

Generally a lovely and spacious property in a great destination. The bifold doors are lovely and bring the outside in. Comfortable furniture and beds and really clean with lots of useful equipment. Vardons is a beautiful house in a great location for the beach as well as for a short walk into the centre of Braunton. It's the "right" (beach) side of the busy road junction so you can easily avoid the daily traffic. The facilities were perfect for our group - two families of four. Lovely host, quick to respond. The house is spacious and comfortable. Gorgeous enclosed garden, which was great for the kids and dog. A short walk to the local high street and short drive to local beaches. There was plenty of space for 7 of us. Highly recommend this property.

Fantastic house with all you need for a getaway. We went as 6 adults, the rooms were comfy and well equipped. Loved the table tennis table in the garage, we made good use of this. Short drive to coastal walks. Would highly recommended this for a family or group of friends

Immaculate and spacious property, well located for Saunton Sands beach (4 minutes drive) and for visiting picturesque coastal resorts and footpaths. Outside tap and covered surf board store (we also dried our wet suits in it when it rained!) So easy to keep our dog clean. We stayed at the vardons there was 5 adults 3 kids and 2 dogs and did not feel at all crammed, Location is great Parking great Garden secure and beautiful And the house is just perfect great bathrooms comfy beds and the sea just down the road what more do you need

We had a fantastic stay at Vardon. We found this house surprisingly large especially the bedrooms. Very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The games room , coffee machine , wine fridge and Netflix was a bonus .
