We enjoyed our stay. Roomy cottage in beautiful location. The platform bed is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who is short as it is high with no steps provided.

Hugely enjoyed staying with our four grown-up children, plus three of their friends. Remote location worked well for us, as we have been in the Lake District many times before and were familiar with the Newlands Valley and Buttermere area. Enjoyed the instruments -- piano in great condition, organ pretty good and a lot of fun to play, harpsichord pRead moreerhaps a little past its best even after we'd tuned it. Kitchen amply equipped, though we brought extra trays. Thoroughly recommended. Hide
