A mile-long walk takes you to Westward Ho! with its long sandy beach for team games and surfing, while Appledore and Bideford are only 2 miles away, so there’s plenty close by to keep everyone occupied. You’ll also be able to stride out on some spectacular cliff-top walks along the South West Coast Path. The property, which sleeps eight guests across four bedrooms, is full of little luxuries to make your stay extra special. These include a glass-fronted balcony, air-conditioning, Smart TVs and even a Tesla car charging point.

 

Inside, the gorgeous open-plan living area is spread across the first floor, with large picture windows offering wonderful views across the lush green meadows. Patio doors lead to the balcony for relaxing with a morning coffee or pre-dinner drink. The contemporary kitchen has everything you need to rustle up a celebratory feast, including four electric ovens – useful if you have different dietary requirements. Raise a toast while sat around the grand dining table, which has seating for up to ten guests. When it’s time to turn in for the night, head down the impressive glass-sided staircase to the stunning bedrooms and bathrooms. On days when you’re spending time outside, grab some ice from the American-style fridge/freezer to make chilled drinks and relax in style on the sun terrace. On a warm day, head to the beaches at Westward Ho! and Instow (4 miles) to play in the sand, go rock pooling and have a go at water sports. Families with young children will find several nearby attractions to keep them entertained. The Big Sheep (2 miles) has thrilling rides, jumping pillows and live sheep racing in summer, while The Milky Way Adventure Park (9 miles) is an all-weather theme park with rollercoasters, dodgems, obstacle courses, sci-fi memorabilia and a maze. Keen golfers have a chance to play on England’s oldest links course at the Royal North Devon Golf Club, just a mile from the property. From the quayside town of Bideford (2.5 miles), enjoy a trip to Lundy Island on the famous MS Oldenburg.

A beautiful house in a great location. Living is upside down with nice views from upstairs. Good size, secure garden for children & dogs to play in. Well equipped, clean and comfortably furnished. A great place to stay! We visited during a very hot period in June, upstairs is air conditioned but the bedrooms were very warm for the whole 2 weeks. ThRead moree awnings were not working which meant we had no shade outside. Otherwise, an idyllic modern seaside family holiday house we would visit again. Hide

This is a beautiful spacious comfortable well equipped house. The views over the countryside and nearby towns are beautiful. Walking distance to the centre of Westward Ho! There is a comment in the earlier reviews about a lack of equipment, this has obviously been rectified by the owner. The whole place screams quality! You won't want to leave. Everything about Sunartra was amazing, the house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for a family of 8. Location was excellent and easy to get to Westward Ho beach. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely house , it would have been helpful to know that not many kitchen / oven utensils were provided. Any kitchen products you need other than saucepans ie oven trays bring with you as well as cooking products and kitchen roll, toilet roll etc
