Bask in the sun all day long on the south-facing terrace. Adventurous days deserve peaceful nights and with five tranquil bedrooms to choose from, you’re spoilt for choice. One is reached via an open staircase, one resides on the ground floor and the remaining three are located on the first floor where a family bathroom has a bath perfect for a morning soak to start the day. We loved our stay in the Cottage, it was very well equipped and very comfortable. Gunnerside is a lovely little village in swaledale, with walks on the doorstep, a traditional pub a very short walk away, and within short driving distance of other villages across the dales. The bedrooms were well sized and the beds very comfy, the kitchen had great Read moreequipment and the living rooms were comfortable for relaxing on an evening. Great location and a very well-appointed, well-developed house. The owners have definitely maximized the potential of the space. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room - I think as many as 9 could fit comfortably. All the amenities worked well. Martin was always responsive on email. Great trip, thanks!

The cottage is a comfortable stay in a picturesque area. The local pub is due to close down so be aware of this for future stays, as Reeth would be your next nearest I believe (a short drive away). It has all the essential amenities you should need, and the bedrooms are comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in the Old School House. We received really useful information about the house and local area in an email before we arrived and they responded to any email queries promptly. Group of 8 adults and a toddler. Very enjoyable stay in Gunnerside. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The beds were all comfortable, didn't use the upstairs double ensuite room.
