This magnificent property provides accommodation for up to 15 guests and is situated on the outskirts of the historic town of Cupar. Enjoying a secluded, rural spot on a mixed arable farm, this beautifully decorated and richly furnished farmhouse is a superb escape for groups of friends and families exploring this spectacular part of the Fife countryside. The property features extensive gardens with ample space for children to play. With the international home of golf, St Andrews, just a short drive away, this stunning property is a great base for keen golfers, as well as for eager walkers, nature lovers and cyclists seeking to discover this spellbinding area. You will also have access to a hot tub and to mixology classes – both of which should be booked in advance with the owner.

 

The elegant hallway leads you into this country house which features an array of stylish period features. The light, refreshing and beautifully decorated lounge is an ideal space to relax in, or you can gather together for a celebratory meal in the grand dining room. The elegant country-style kitchen/diner is a perfect space for a snack, breakfast or for planning the day’s events. The ground floor also has a delightful snug with a TV and wood burner. This fresh, inviting and comfortable farmhouse also features seven colourful and relaxing bedrooms. The bunk bedroom is accessed by a steep staircase from the snug and is not suitable for small children. There’s also a cosy ground-floor single room with a beautiful, exposed stone wall. The five remaining bedrooms are upstairs: one king-size, three super-king-size rooms (one en-suite) and a spacious en-suite family room with a super-king-size bed and bunk beds. The large mature gardens outside have a seating area and BBQ, ideal for a spot of al fresco dining.

The farmhouse is just a mile from the famous Cairnie Fruit Farm and Mega Maze with its farm shop, tearoom and family activities. The former royal burgh of Cupar (2 miles) dates back to medieval times and is home to the historic Preston Lodge, the Corn Exchange and the Mercat Cross. Other local attractions include the Scottish Deer Centre, the Hill of Tarvit Mansion and Garden (both 5.5 miles) and Falkland Palace (13 miles) on the outskirts of the Lomond Hills. St Andrews (12 miles) is known for its superb golf courses and the British Golf Museum, as well as the remains of an ancient cathedral and 13th-century castle. Walkers and families can follow part of the famous Fife Coastal Path or head to the popular Craigtoun Country Park (10 miles) with its miniature railway, crazy golf and tractor rides.

This is a really lovely property that suited our large family. We could not have asked for a better equipped house, it was clean and homely and the host was great. Our dogs were made to feel very welcome too, although they needed supervising in the garden as it wasn't enclosed. Highly recommend.

Great house for a gathering. There were 13 of us and the reception room, dining room and kitchen were all great for us to enjoying socialising. Everything you could possibly need from kitchen utensils, glasses, pots and pans, to games, magazines and kids equipment. Bedrooms were comfortable. Stayed here with family for my husbands 60th Birthday and all had a fantastic time together. The house was amazing with everything youd need and all the rooms were a great size with really comfy beds . Host was really accommodating and would highly recommend staying here for any occasion. Will definitely stay here again .

Susan was superb at keeping in touch and helping us out at the cottage! Lots of room for 14 of us and all the beds were soooo comfy! Lovely stay in a huge farmhouse set in lovely private grounds. We were a party of 13 and two dogs and had plenty of space . Owner was very helpful prior to our visit and gave us plenty of good information. Highly recommend and we will return for sure

We had a FANTASTIC holiday at Pitbladdo Farmhouse. Our family of 6 adults, 2 children aged 3 and 8, plus a Golden Retreiver had a most wonderful time there. The spacious accommodation was exactly what we hoped it would be. As part of a golfing party, I would definitely recommend this house to anyone, there are numerous quality golf courses within 20 to 30 minutes drive, The house was perfect for our needs, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back again

An excellent venue for our large family gathering, with 8 adults, 6 children and 2 dogs. We felt comfortable and relaxed in the lovely setting of Pitbladdo, great spot to explore Fife from. Susan was very helpful recommending where to go, and tips on using the house. It was clean on arrival, well supplied and had a lovely big garden to enjoy. We hired Pitbladdo house for a Hen Do for 15 and a wee baby. It was excellent location, the host was super helpful and gave great advice on hiring a hot tub for the weekend. The house is well equipped for eating and drinking in the house. We also had a lunch catered by Cairnie Fruit Farm next door for pick up, went strawberry picking and Alpacca trRead moreekking all within a 20 minute drive of the property.
